    I've lost 15 so far in one month. I need to drop another 35. How long will it take me if I eat 1200 calories a day and do a half hour of running 4 days a week? I weigh 159 pounds and my height is 5 feet 1 inch. I want to be 124 pounds.

  • Do you ever lose a lot of weight and then stop all of a sudden? Will I ever start to lose weight again?

    I've lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks. It's been another week and 2 days and I haven't lost any thing else. However, when I look in the mirror I now see a difference. I've been not only dieting but working out too.

    Am I not losing weight because my body is trying to adjust or is it because a I built some muscle or lost inches? Will I lose weight again soon?

  • So I've decided to go ahead and do a 1 day water fast, because I cheated on my diet this weekend.?

    I have been doing good on my 1200 calorie diet for a month and then I cheated with pizza and beer 3 nights in a row. I feel like crap and I won't step on the scale for fear of a huge weight gain.

    I'm going to do a water fast today and then begin my weight loss journey again tomorrow.

    Do you think if I do the fast, I will at least drop all the waterweight I gained over this weekend from the pizza and sodium intake?

  • I cheated on my diet and I need some support!?

    I've lost 16 pounds in a month and I went and cheated this weekend. Friday night, Sat. night and Sun. night. Beer and pizza and other stuff I shouldn't of eaten. I went kind of crazy. I didn't dare weigh myself this morning. I am getting back on my diet today. I plan on weighing myself in a few days after being on my diet, hoping that I will still be 16 pounds down at least. I am so upset at myself! :(

  • I'm at a plateau in my weight loss. Any advice?

    I've lost about 15 pounds. I still need to lose another 30 pounds to be a healthy BMI. I have been keeping an eye on carbs, been eating 1200 calories a day and exercising. It was working great for a long time but now it's been almost 2 weeks and I've only dropped 1 pound in that time. I'm getting frustrated.

    I am 5 feet and 1 inch. I used to be 110 pounds and in great shape. Then I fell into depression and gained 62 pounds for a total of 172 pounds. I'm trying to fix my life.     I am following atkins and 1200 calories a day. I drink water. I work out every other day for about 45 minutes, running or playing dance central on the kinect. I need to really boost my metabolism and lose another 8 pounds in two weeks. Any suggestions?

  • Today is my 14th day of the induction for the Atkins diet. I lost 12 pounds week 1 and 0 pounds week 2. Why?

    I am 5 feet 1 inch. I weighed 172. Now I am 160. The first week I dropped an astounding 12 pounds but the second week I didn't lose a pound. If I stay on the induction phase will I lose something the third week? Also, I'm watching my calories. I've been eating 1400 to 1500 per day just to be safe. I just started exercising yesterday evening.

    Why didn't my body drop any weight the second week? Also, if I still to this diet will I start to lose again?

    To be honest, I've never made it past week 3 on a diet due to frustration and disappointment.So what can I do to not be so obsessed will the weight on the scale? I want to see what happens week 4. Maybe I'll lose a lot that week. I just can't seem to get over the numbers on the scale and not seeing dramatic change like I do in week one. Any suggestions?

    PS I'm asking on the religious section because there are more people here than any other question and people here tend to be more helpful.

    No I don't. I just wanted to put something up that would get people's attention. Don't you hate that?People do this all the time and I don't mean trolls.   • Have you ever apologized or made peace with an enemy in order to be at peace with yourself?

    Have you ever gotten into a fight with someone, even a friend and then became angry and hateful towards each other? Then you stop talking. Have you ever written or called that person and said, "hey I know you hate me but I don't hate you. I'm sorry for anything I did to upset you and I wish you the best".

    If you have ever done this, did it help you be more at peace with yourself and feel better as a person. I'm thinking of doing this with someone. Even though I still feel like I've done nothing wrong. If I just apologize anyways and tell them I wish them the best and to have a happy life, will I feel better as a person?
