I just just a credit card today, and the annual fee is there already as a payment due (which is fine).I intend to pay it in my first bill, I just noticed that it isn't affecting my "available credit". Why exactly is that? If I didn't pay it would it accrue interest?

When I go to play any video or any file with any noise at all, it won't work. I'll test the audio and it'll say that another app is using the audio. No other apps are open.

I've updated the driver, and that hasn't worked. What could this be and what should I do?

I have a Dell ...something (with a core i3), and recently, it's not been playing ANY audio, and youtube hasn't been playing. I'll restart it and it will work for about an hour, and then just decide against working. I still have windows 8. Should I upgrade to 8.1, or is there something else I can do?

It just started the other day, but most of the time when I go to youtube on my laptop, and go to a video, it will buffer the entire thing and just never start playing the video no matter what.

Okay, I know the basics. Piercing is free with purchase of earrings. I just want to know if they would do a second piercing in an ear, with a stretched lobe. I know very little about it. I may even just accidentally be mixing movies together and thinking they're different ones. (I may be taking a City of Angels scene, just be mixing up the character description)

I remember that, around 2001, or so, there were always these commercials for this movie. It was playing on TBS, so it'd probably come out mid to late ninties. I just remember (from the commercial) that it was a black man crawling out of the ground, dressed in all white, and being confused about the television in the window.

So, I'm doing professional wrestling training, and about 2.5 to 3 weeks ago, I took a back bump (essentially a fall backwards) with my leg tucked underneath me. It hurt a little then, but I continued practice and didn't make that mistake again. The next morning, I couldn't even put any weight on it without it buckling. So, I bought a good knee brace (a knee stabilizer) and wore it until bed. The next day, it barely hurt, but I still couldn't put any weight on it without it buckling. It's a few weeks later, and it only hurts sometimes, but I still can't fully straighten or put my full weight on that leg without it buckling. I've been running on it fine, in my knee brace, but I was wondering if this could be a small tear in my ACL, or another knee injury. Or maybe I just strained it.

My friend recently started to work towards a career in teaching and thought it would be useful to learn sign language. While I do not hope for a career in teaching, I thiught it would be cool to learn at least a little because where I work there are a good bit of deaf people as customers who are very kind. I learned the alphabet first and found that it is incredibly difficult for me to sign anything (the alphabet and the few words I've learned) with my right hand. I'm right handed, so this struck me as weird. I can also only "fling" snap with my left hand. I was wondering if this meant that my hand are cross dominant or what it may mean. It's always been easier for me to do things with my left hand first, except writing and cymbals.

Actually I don't need a full day. There are just about 7 days (non consecutive) coming up in the next few months that I need part of the day to do something else pretty important. I messed up pretty bad and had a short in my register not too long ago. Nobody's said anything else about it, but I don't want to ask after what happened because I still feel guilty. These days coming up, for the most part, I can work in the morning or evening, but not the rest of the day. How should I approach them and ask them if it's okay for me to (if I'm working those days) be off when I need to be. One of the main factors in my hire was open availability, so I'm kind of afraid to ask.

I only ask because I've calculated the percentages, and they vary a good bit. Like, these last couple weeks, before taxes, I made within a few cents of the same thing, and on the one that I got more money, I received less by about five dollars. I'm just curious :) thanks in advance.

Okay, so when I was at the register (I'm a cashier) I accidentally let the register take a check as cash, so my register came up over $80 short. This was the first time anything like this had happened to me. I had told my manager right after it happened, and nobody seemed to angry with me, but I was given a sheet that my mangers and I had to sign. They said they had to report it to loss prevention because it was such a large amount, but she said she wasn't saying that to scare me. I just want to know if this it's something that the district manager or anybody would come in and fire me for, even if my managers didn't?

Okay, so I'm a cashier, and last night, I was putting a check through the machine and everything went weird. I didn't think that it might have thought the check was cash (which was not put into the register) until after the individual was gone. I had a long line going, so it wasn't until a few minutes later that I even thought it might be bad. I told my manager everything that happened and she didn't sound mad. She sounded slightly irritated, but not with me, necessarily (only a little bit when she asked how I reacted to it), and she said she'd check it later when she was closing.

Okay, so, if my register did end up short, will I get into a ton of trouble? Will I get fired? It was a little over eighty bucks. I haven't made any big mistakes yet, but I've only been there a couple months and I'm freaking out right now. Please help. Thanks :)

I was hired as a seasonal associate, but was told that I could be kept on if I was basically up to par. They were hiring a cashier a while ago, when I was being hired, but I was hired as something else. I've mostly been on register since then, though. The cashier posting is down, and they've been telling people that was filled around the time I was hired, and I just a got a thing about their benefits (medical and whatnot) and that shouldn't have been enacted until after my seasonal time. Does this mean that I'm most likely being kept on? I just don't want to sign up for the benefits if I won't be kept because it costs money. Thanks in advance.

I worked today from 10-1, came home for a few hours and my boss called me at about 4:00 asking whether or not I could come in from 5-9, and I told him I have plans. Could he be mad at me? He seemed to understand, but I'm still scared. I don't want my bosses to be mad at me. I've never said no when they tried to call me in before, and I've never called in saying that I can't come in. I'm just really afraid that I've disappointed him. Is he going to be? My main thing when I was interviewed was open availabity, so I'm freaking out right now.

I was hired mid to late last month at Petsmat as a seasonal associate. They said they'd keep me on if possible after the holidays, but they weren't sure at the time of my interview (I'm sure it will also be based on my job performance). I've been there about five weeks, and I've heard no word either way. I've made a few rookie mistakes, but I've not been yelled at (which I know has happened to other people before), every single time they've called and asked me to come in, I have, and I'm always early. I usually get about 8-10 hours a week before call-ins. My first day, one of my coworkers said I wouldn't be seasonal for too long, meaning that they usually keep seasonal associates. I know there's no way to be sure, but I'd love some tips to be kept on as a permanent associate, and accounts from people who have worked at Petsmart and were kept on, or were kept on in general at any place. Also, about when will they tell me? I really like this job, and I want to be kept on (I'd be devastated if I'm not) but, if I'm not going to, I'd like to start looking for another job in a timely manner. :)

My friend's band received an offer from a label called Dental Records in London. I really don't want him to get screwed over.

I will admit that I know very little about the current climate. My basis of knowledge is more about how record labels worked in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, as I read a lot of autobiographies. I've never heard of what my friend was offered.

They (the band) have to pay $50 a months to be a part of this label. I find this strange. I've never heard of a label asking for money as an "offer". Also, we live in the United States (GA), so how could a record label in London help them? They're also pretty new and have some rhythm and tempo discrepancies. Does anybody know anything about this label?

I may very well be ignorant to this topic and this be the standard practice now, but I really don't want my friend to get his hopes up and waste his money when he still could be searching for a label to sign his band.

I've looked it up, and it seems that the current is literally ALL the money in my account, and the available excludes the money for pending transactions. BUT, I literally put money in for the first time today, so I don't have any pending transactions. Is this normal? Will I be able to use more than the available balance?

So, I work at Petsmart and I just started. We get paid on a weekly basis (Fridays). I know they withhold a week. So, I need to know when they'll start paying me.

I technically started Tuesday, but I was only clocked in for two and a half hours, for training. I started for realz for realz this past Thursday… a week ago. I worked Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Should I get paid tomorrow, or will it be a couple more days or next week?

Please don't tell me to ask my boss or people I work with. I don't really want to, that's why I'm asking y'all. Just tell from your experience, please :D

I work at Petsmart; just started. I make $7.75 an hour. I claimed 0 dependents and said I was single (not married). I live in GA. How much will be taken out of my weekly paycheck?
