i get that the double cork is 2 off-axis spins and the double mctwist is two front flip-like spins, but isnt a front flip just an off axis spin? what makes the double mick different from a double cork?

I'm looking for a 4-channel amp to drive 4 speakers. I found this (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_136J23204/JL-Audio-J2... Its a class b amp. Ive read online that class b amps are notorious for distortion. Is the distortion really that bad? Should I be concerned? for should i spend the extra money and go with a class AB amp?

Right now I have a 4-channel amp that hooks up to my 4 speakers. I want to add a mono-amp to hook up to a sub. Im trying to figure out how to power the second amp. I see myself as having 2 options:

1) Run the power cable for the mono-amp to the battery. That way I'll have 2 cables running off the battery. One for my 4-channel amp and one for my mono-amp

2) Add a distribution block so that I will only need one power cable. The cable will branch off the distribution block with one lead going to the 4-channel amp and another lead going to the mono-amp.

Which one of those methods would work better? Or would that both work equally well?

is it just the fact that KW has more/different units and structures that TW? is there more too it than that? is the campaign different?

im considering two different processors:

Processor 1: Intel Quad Core i7-720QM (1.6 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache) w/ Turbo Boot up tp 2.8 GHz

Processor 2: Intel Dual Core i5-520M (2.4 GHz, 3 MB L2 cache) w/ Turbo Boost up to 2.93 GHz

Just looking at those numbers, 2.4 GHz > 1.6 GHz

However, am i correct to assume the follwing:

1.6 GHz x 4 cores = 6.4 GHz

2.4 GHz x 2 cores = 4.8 GHz

Looking at those numbers, 6.4 GHz > 4.8 GHz. Do processors work like that? Do you multiply the speed by the number of cores?

need a computer for college as i will be majoring in computer engineering. ive settled on the hp pavilion dv6t, but im still not sure as to which processor and graphics card i want in it. since im doing computer engineering, i need a computer that is going to be fast, but i also plan on doing a lot with music and videos (movies and such) as well as playing some games (mostly command and conquer, age of empires, or roller coaster tycoon). heres a link for the laptop; http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shoppi%E2%80%A6 computing

they obviously increase in speed as you move on, but im wondering which processor will be sufficient for my needs

say i buy command and conquer or age of empires or some other computer game. if i want to play the game, i need to insert the game disk into the disk drive so it'll load and i can play. would i be able to take the game and download it to my hard drive so i would no longer need the disk in order to play it? essentially, is there a way to save the entire game to my hard drive so all i have to do is double click on an icon and have the entire game load even though i dont have the disk in the disk drive?

everything ive read online says that if your going to college to major in engineering then you're better off getting a PC instead of a Mac. why?

i just got a PS3 for christmas today, and i want to play Ratchet and Clank. However, before i could play, a message popped up and said that i needed to update the software in order for the game to work. I hit "ok," and the update started. The update got 17% done then stopped and a message popped up that said "disconnected from media server" and the update stopped updating.

I tried again, but to no avail; i had the same problem. My brother was playing Modern Warfare 2 on xbox 360 right next to me and it he wasnt having any problems, so i dont know what the problem with PS3 is.

Any ideas?

Some of these might seem dumb, but i want to be sure:

1. How much does unlimited data usage cost for a residential (as opposed to business) plan cost?

2. If I have unlimited data, I am capable of checking facebook, gmail, google calendar, youtube, downloading apps, and browsing the internet as often as i want, etc..., correct?

3. Does google navigation cost extra?

4. If I got a data plan that was unlimited, would using google navigation "use" data?

5. If I download a game, say tetris, it uses data. But does it require data use to actually play the game once I have it downloaded?

6. Can I download movies off my computer on to the Droid?

I know thats a lot, so if you could help me out with any of my questions it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

what, if any, are the advantages of playing your iPod through an iPod USB port vs. playing your iPod through an AUX port?

im looking at 2 different head units, and im wondering if its worth the extra $30 to get the iPod USB port or if i should just stick with an AUX port.

maybe this is just me, but saying "hi, i really like you, how do you feel about me?" seems kinda awkward and weird. is there a better way to find out if the other person likes you without being so direct? or is being direct about it really the best option?

i want to buy an iTrip for my car (http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-iTrip-Transmitter-Ch... and it says that it works with an iPod Nano 3G. I have an iPod Nano 4G (Nano Chromatic) and i was wondering if the iTrip will still work with my 4G? i dont see why it wouldnt, unless the dock connector is different between the 3G and 4G... but i would assume that the dock connector is the same, right?

im 6' tall, 150 lbs, size 11 boot, and i want the Zep to be an all-mountain board. i was planning on getting a 158, but i can get a heck of a deal on a 156 ($100 less than the cost of a 158). should i go with the 156 or 158? is the 156 long enough?
