-I walk 7.5 miles in the morning with my dog on hilly terrain at a 4.0mph pace

-I do interval training on the treadmill (walking for 2 minutes, running for 1 minute) for 30 minutes

-I do competitive figure skating 3 days a week for 1 hour

-I eat mostly whole, natural foods and usually consume just over 1200 calories/day

I am 5'3" and weigh 119lbs. I'd like to get fit this summer. If I keep up my diet and exercise regimen, can I lose weight and tone up by August?

During my last appointment, my ortho wasn't able to put my lower permanent retainer on because my teeth had "shifted" a bit. When he filled out my appointment card, he circled 'deband.' The secretary told me that I might be getting something off today. Is there a possibility that I will get my braces off even though my ortho never formally told me?

I'm looking to purchase a new laptop for school. This computer not only has to be fast and easy to use, but durable and long lasting (I'd like it to last me 4+ years). Both laptops have almost identical features and seem to perform well. Is the MacBook worth the money or should I invest in a VAIO? Also, any comments about PC vs. Mac?

I just got a standard American Eskimo last week. The day I brought him home, I took him on a walk with the leash. He walked right beside me for a whole mile- it was a miracle! This continued for about 3 days. However, the last few days, he refused to walk. We'll walk on the side of the road for about 30 seconds, and he'll immediately get distracted with grass or plants. After a while he'll walk again, only to lie down or sit on the road a minute later. I've tried treats, toys, saying, "Let's Go!" while running, etc, but NOTHING works! Help?

So, I've had a red eye for 2 days now. I've had pink eye before, but this time when I woke up my eye wasn't "crusted shut." Nor was it itchy or irritated, just red. The redness did go down a bit to a lighter shade since yesterday, but it's still red. Why is my eye red?

Good Morning! My name is ______________and I’m standing here to ask for YOUR vote this year as Treasurer. Before I start, I want to make sure that we have the fake laughter and clapping all set up here in case I crash and burn. Are we good? Alright. Why would I be a great treasurer? Well, I think that there are certain qualities that a Treasurer should have. First, Math Skills. Yeah, I’m good at math. If you get $10 from 10 people, what would you have?

But seriously, the treasurer has the extremely important job of handling the student council’s budget.

This will require good adding and subtracting skills. As a participant in the Accelerated math class for the last four years, I am good in math, and I’ll have the ability to do anything the council throws at me. Secondly, I think that a good Treasure should be very responsible. Handling our money is a humungous responsibility, and I assure you that I will bring much responsibility to the table. Third, a good Treasurer should spend their school’s money wisely. At FMS, we should definitely spend our money on practical things, like personal planetariums, mighty putty, and bubble rap for personal enjoyment. Sorry, just kidding. Activities such as Field Trips and After School Parties will be held as much as possible if I’m elected. If you vote for someone that spends our money on things that we won’t benefit from, what good is that going to do? That’s why you should vote for me. Last, you should vote for a Treasurer that gives their fellow students a voice. If you elect me to be your next Treasurer, I will hand out monthly polls, that let YOU decide which activities and events that we should do. Thank you very much for being a great audience. I’ve never seen such a civilized group of preschoolers. You see, earlier today somebody told me that I would be giving you guys a speech about brushing your teeth after each meal. Good thing I have another speech prepared for all you youngsters. Remember, for a better school year, vote for me, ______. Don’t forget to floss!
