Hi! I'm a natural-born helper with a background in medicine (modern and natural) and mental health. I'm not a doctor. I am a professional researcher who loves to share what I've learned. Please feel free to email or IM me if I can be of more help.
Missing Questions! Does anyone else notice this happening?
Will someone please explain to me why questions that I've answered are going missing? The questions violated no Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. When checking up on them I am presented with "This question does not exist or is under review.". And no, it's not a matter of the 'glitch' that can be resolved by F5 refreshing. I asked one user what had happened and they did not know, they found their question suddenly gone and had not received any sort of violation notice. They simply re-posted the same question again.
I put a great deal of thought and research into my answers. It's hard enough to get a decent BA percentage with Askers not bothering to follow up. But these Askers here never had the chance to follow up. Now my answers are being watered down even more through this new little mystery.
What is going on here??? Does anyone else notice this happening? Please check your Answers activity.

2 AntwortenYahoo Answersvor 6 JahrenReport Abuse Flag seems to be useless. What else can I do?
I know that I have not been around long enough to earn a high Trust Rating. From what I've been researching, it will take years to gain that privilege.
However, I am seeing heinous abuse every day. Explicitly lewd "answers" to children, hateful and potentially harmful responses to those who are scared, in pain or even suicidal.
I love how I've been able to help so many people here but I'm spending more and more time posting comments asking a User to "please ignore the troll" and explaining how to report them. They still get hurt and reporting seems to be useless. The emotional abuse on Y!A is overwhelming but I am helpless to do anything about it.
Or am I? Is there a way I could contact a member with a decent trust rating to have them look into something and take steps?
Is there a forum somewhere I could report to? Something, anything. I'm so very sick of seeing kids and other vulnerable people getting hurt.
You may think I'm too sensitive and should leave. You may be right. I'm an internet veteran and can laugh off any troll attack directed at me. I worry far too much about others. But if I leave Y!A, I'll feel like a coward and those tough questions that no one else answers will be filled with only spam, nonsensical non-answers and abuse.
What can I do? What can any of us do?
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
5 AntwortenYahoo Answersvor 6 JahrenWhat could cause sudden dizziness while working on the computer?
I work at home on the computer and have done so for years. For the past several weeks, if I've been working for at least two hours, I will get a sudden wave of mild disorientation. Not light-headed, not vertigo. There's no spinning sensation, more like "tilting", making it hard to focus, and a sense of unbalance. When it happens, I take a break and it usually goes away in about a half an hour. On two different days though, every time I tried to get back to work it would return. So I lost nearly 2 days worth of productivity.
I've been to the doctor recently and had a full check up. All is normal. I stay well hydrated and eat right.
I've been using the same computer monitor for the last 5 years without any troubles. It passed a diagnostics test and the refresh rate is where it's supposed to be.
I've asked my doctor and I've poked around online but have come up with nothing.
At this point, I'm open to suggestions. What could be causing it and what can I do about it?
Please, serious answers only and no Copy & Paste answers. I will award Best Answer to someone who puts a bit of sincere thought and effort into this.
Thank you.
