So I recently applied for a loan a few days ago for $3000 from CitiFinancial. They never contacted me and it came up in my report as an inquiry. What should I do?

Obviously, I can't expect an exact amount but right now, here's what's wrong with it.

The brake cable is rusted. I'm not sure if it's the main brakes or emergency brakes...but the car had this problem last year and still passed inspection. How much would it cost to replace+labor?

The radiator temperature hose has a leak. the car overheats now. How much for the hose+labor? It looks like I could do it myself...but it looks like I'd have trouble getting the clamps off.

There's a hole in my exhaust somewhere. I'm 99.9% sure it's not the manifold/catalytic converter. Being that those two are worse case scenario, how much should I expect to get this fixed?

The belt between my air conditioner, idler, and crank shaft needs to be replaced. How much for the part+labor?

Any help would be appreciated.

so i'm in the market to buy a new car, but i have no clue what kind of car. i've had idea but yet i see alot of nice cars and suddenly it gives me a change of heart. so i need help to pick out one. i was thinking maybe a older (97-04) corvette or a 350z... but i'm just scoping out other ideas. here's my criteria

Ok so I did a little bit of research because this question really intrigues me.

Need for Speed is the first game i ever played for playstation way back in 1997. and ill admit, the franchise has gone MAJORLY downhill. When? i have no clue. at any rate, what is your favorite need for speed game? here's some things i found note worthy of the series.

EA Canada made need for speed (nfs1) all the way to porsche unleased (nfs5).

EA Black box made need for speed hot pursuit 2 (nfs6) to undercover (nfs12)

ea black box is done, so ea canada will once again make the need for speed game...not ea black box.

nfs hot pursuit 2 (nfs6) was the first ps2 nfs.

while nfs hot pursuit 3 (nfs3) was the first nfs with car mods, nfs underground (nfs7) was the first with aftermarket mods)

so i worked for circuit city. and i wasn't yet...but i guess i will be "laid off" soon. how do i collect unemployment?

so at the beginning of december, i picked up a friend and we were gonna go out to eat, then a cop pulled us over. i was polite and respectful to the cop, but the cop was stern and rude to me. he said the reason why he pulled me over is because "he ran my license plate and my insurance was suspended". as a result, he took my license plate and gave me a $383 fine (i live in pennsylvania where not having insurance was illegal). granted, i know i can't say i didn't know (and i really didn't because i paid my insurance thru my mom), but i thought about it.

i turned off of a street onto route ##, i drove down the road, made a right turn at light (which i was able to make that turn and the light was green). and he pulled me over there. it was 8 p.m. on a saturday night. all the lights on my car work, turn signals and all. i didn't swerve, we weren't loud, my windows aren't tinted (another law, if they are too dark), i didn't speed, i didn't have a wild passenger, we were wearing our seatbelts (also a law), we had no drugs, alcohol, etc., so there was NO reason for the cop to pull me over, let alone run my plates. i had to pay the fine plus a court fee, $390. i had to pay the insurance company (obviously, the matter was resolved 2 days later, it was a bad check), and i had to pay penndot $140 to get my plate back (the cop didn't tow my car, howeve if i was seen driving in another borough without a plate, then i was screwed). however, i believe it was racial profiling. (i hate that term).

i am a black male, the passenger is white female. she lives in a predominantly rich, white neighborhood. the car i drive is a 94 chrsyler concorde. it has 2 missing hubcaps. i'm thinking, maybe the cop thought i was a drug dealer or something and pulled me over on suspicion? i have no clue. i'm 19 years old. i'm not in college. i work. i have bills. i'm well educated for not being in college. yeah, i've been suspended a few times, but i was NEVER arrested before. this whole ordeal has me freaking out. the court hearing is january 21st.

i asked alot of people for advice, now i'm asking the people of yahoo! answers.

1) was he right for pulling me over? if so, why?

2) do i actually have a chance to win this case? explain why please.

3)can i get back the $530 spent in this whole ordeal that should have never happened? explain why please.

4)can i sue? and if i can..a)what do i have to do? such as a lawyer and such? b) how much can i sue for?...i heard $5,000-$10,000 was common.. and c) do i have a realistic chance of winning?

5)any other comments would be nice.

i'm having this problem and i dont know if its me... but everytime i play it online.. sometimes.. i get this server problem... i usually cant race no more than 2-3 straight online races without getting booted in the middle of a race..and i was wondering if thats my ps3 (hope not).. or if thats just a server problem..or maybe its becuz im wireless.. cuz its kicked me off enough to take me down several ranks

there were a few websites i used to constanly go on my ps3's browser(aimonpsp.com and playstations retail loyalty site) and now it says..page will not display then some error code (80710003)...and its making me angry. my ps3 is my only way of getting online (since i dont have a pc yet) so im wondering if there's a way around it ( i tried turning javascript off, cuz thats how i answer questions and ask them on here.. the only way is turning javascript off)...so yeah...

so i bought the thing earlier tonight and ive been trying to get it to work on my tv for hours. but after realizing what an idiot i am, the device has regular av inputs and svideo...however they are av/s-video IN...however the tv i have doesnt have av/s-video in slots... so im looking for a device (the cheaper the better) that has the following outputs: av-in and av-out and tv-in and tv-out (rf...coaxial... the little cable that screws into a tv to give u cable..i dont kno what its called). help please.
