i'm in the mood for something poetic. like (500) days of summer or [if you've ever heard of it] love and other disasters.

what movies do you recommend that are similar to those ? they can be new and/or old

so i need to write about fear. it needs to be descriptive prose. i'm not supposed to use the word in the text. but i know all the cliche terms like 'quickened breath' and 'fast heartbeat' and you start to sweat and all that. what other physical sensations and images and stuff would you write?

there can be mini-stories, too, but that's not really my style...

so how would you describe fear ?

so i'm going on a date tomorrow, and i have this cough. i don't have any other symptoms of being sick, and i've already took some allergy pills, what can i do to get rid of it by tomorrow afternoon?!

is there anywhere you know where i can buy color contacts [without prescription] and not online? preferably a chain store [target, walmart, rite aid, etc] since there are different stores everywhere.

So for school, we have to write a story about the "snowball effect", meaning getting caught in a web of lies. I need ideas for my story. anyone have any?

So my school is having a little renaissance fair in the back field. But we're on a tight budget - everything has to be bought by parents...no teachers/school. So does anyone have any ideas for what we can do for activities? there's only going to be about 70 people...

My zune froze on the booting up screen (where it says zune under the logo and it has the little loading bar on the bottom). When I press buttons....never does anything work! help! is there any way to take the battery out and put it back? or should i just wait until the power runs out then try again?

please. I can't live with out it. i always listen to it when i sleep. Without it, i can't sleep. Then i'm morbid as h*ll the next day, and nobody wants that. PLEASE HELP!

She lived like...a long time ago, somewhere in england *i think* but i know one day, her servant pulled her hair too hard when she was brushing it, and she drew blood from her servant. When the servant's blood was on her hand, she thought it made her skin younger, so from then on she would kill young girls and bathe in their blood...

desperate times calls for desperate measures...but why this extreme?

So my family has been having some issues.

*This is going to be sort of long, so you'd better be able to read fast or you have a long time to read.*

So my grandma died, and when she died, problems came. My dad and his 2 brothers kept fighting over things like who got how much money and property and belongings and stuff. When it was all settled, my dad and one of his brothers were both mad at each other. And for some reason, my dad won't tell my why they're still angry at each other even though everything is done with. So my other uncle *who isn't fighting* lives in washington, and i live in california, so i don't get to see my cousins and we're not that close. We only see each other every 3 or 4 years. The rest of my dad's side of the family is in San Francisco, too far of a car drive. Plus I don't really know them that well, because i see them even less than the ones in washington. My mom's side of the family is all in China, so I can't talk to them because i can't speak chinese that well, plus it's long distance and half way across the earth. So the only family I had was my cousins, whose father is fighting with my father.

I used to see my cousins almost every-other weekend. But since they've been fighting, they barely talk to each other. I haven't seen or even communicated in any way with my cousins/best-est friends in the world for more than a year, and I really miss them. Today I overheard my dad, and he was talking. It was something about suing them and court. I'm afraid that if we do go to court, then it will make the relationship even more distant. At family reunions and wedding and such, they even totally ignore each other. My aunt used to call me her "daughter" because she didn't have a daughter, so she would always buy me stuff like clothes and dolls and things. But at one of my other aunt's weddings, she started calling this other girl her "daughter". She looked almost exactly like me, even though we weren't related by blood. Not related in any way at all. So my family and my cousin's family never really communicate anymore. It's hard enough to have to spend all my holidays with friends, not family. We used to spend every single holiday with family. Even in the summer I would be at their house 3 days of the week. But now I don't have any family other than my parents and my grandpa who lives with me.

I don't want to lose my cousins, but I can't communicate with them or their parents. My dad won't listen to me either. So what do I do when I don't have any family, any real friends who like me for who i am, not what i have, or anyone to really love?

when you look at some of the new questions about homework help and they give you a specific question, do you think they're trying to get everyone's opinions, or do you think they're just lazy and are trying to get the answers? usually i don't figure those out, in case they are cheeting, but do you answer them?

I'm 12, 4 feet and 6 inches tall. I weigh 75 pounds. I just feel fat every time I eat. Whenever I play the Wii Fit, it says i'm normal weight, but I just feel like i need to be under weight. Sometimes I like to think of myself as anorexic, but i sometimes think i'm not. do you think i am?

I want to tone my abs, but I don't have much time. I've been doing 100 sit-ups a night, but I'm not sure if it's working. Does anyone have any tips on something I can do at home for less than 15 or 20 minutes?

I've been watching some old episodes of Pushing Daisies. It was on ABC...until they canceled it. But I wanted to know if anyone noticed what I noticed. If you look in the Pie Hole, the restaurant, in the background where the customers sit...do you think the lights are supposed to look like cherries? or just coincidentally look like them?

whenever people think of people cutting themselves, they assume they are emo. emo is a stereotype. not a classification. It is also believed to be suicidal. Seriously people, if it were suicidal, then we would just go and slit our wrists already. but if people really knew about it, then they would understand that it's NOT SUICIDAL OR EMO! if they dress "emo", then they might not be emo. but not everyone who cuts is emo...so why do people always think it is...?

I need to study and memorize the muscles in the hand and wrist for school. Does anyone have any tips or techniques on ways to remember them? All the names are so confusing...
