Where can I find a list of foreclosed homes for sale in Ontario Canada?
2 AntwortenTorontovor 1 JahrzehntDo you think that kids of 12 and 14 having sex and babies shows a breakdown of parts of society?
.. or rather than the lack of good parental and moral guidance, it is a result of the over sexualisation of kids thanks to TV and the media in general. Do Sugababes/Girls Aloud/Beyonce etc. etc. HAVE to bump grind wearing next to nothing in EVERY pop video they make?
25 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntWhat do you think about the new laws against photographing police men?
Yet more erosion of our civil liberties and even more scope for the police to abuse the so called "anti-terror" laws, which seem to be increasingly used to harass ordinary law abiding citizens. You can now be put in jail for up to 10 years for taking a photograph of a police officer, yet police surveillance cameras on our streets are multiplying at an exponential rate. Not to mention the use of hand held cameras by police at public events to target individuals. What has happened to the UK? We used to be up in arms about things like this happening in the former Eastern European Dictatorships, now we are rolling over and letting it happen to us.. are we doomed?
13 AntwortenOther - News & Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntDo you think someone should lose a job for saying something deemed racist in a private conversation?
I find the term "golly-wog" very offencive, but I also know that this is still a free country and if someone wishes to use that term in a private conversation, they shouldn't lose their jobs over it. Is this the BBC now over reacting thanks to the Jonathan Ross debacle? Maybe the best thing would have been to sack him and a line would have been drawn under the whole issue then.
15 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntIs the so called "credit crunch" actually a good thing?
One of the plus points seems to be that people are waking up to the fact that they have been living like sheep for the past 20 years, consuming more and more because they have been told to do so and it's good for the "economy".. but a disaster for the planet. Retailers and manufacturers can't con people into spending silly money before Christmas as shoppers now demand fairer prices or vote with their feet. Shame the Government still insists on giving OUR tax £'s to city bankers to keep them in lifestyle they have created for themselves.
6 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntIs Gordon Brown making the most of his time during this crisis by writing to each X-factor finalist personally?
.. or is he once again trying to curry favour with the British public.. if you want to get down with the kids Gordy, pretending to be X-factor savvy is hardly the way to go. The man is sooooo cringe worthy..
19 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntMost Luxurious Hotel opens in Dubai with Worlds biggest firework display, has the world gone mad?
The super rich are becoming even richer and flaunting it even more, while the working class pay to bail out millionaire bankers while at the same time are having their houses repossessed by the same bankers. OPEC countries are on the verge of cutting back oil production because fuel and petrol are now "too cheap". George Orwell's Time Machine is slowly coming true, it may not be a literal fulfilment, but the division of the world is plain to see..
9 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntDo you think John Sergeant was right to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing?
.. on one hand I can see that his weekly triumphs were making a mockery of the hard work and dedication of the other contestants who were booted off.. but on the other hand, has the show and "Brucie" started to take itself a little bit too seriously? It is after all an amateur competition billed as light entertainment, and John was probably the most entertaining of the lot.
13 AntwortenReality Televisionvor 1 JahrzehntBritannia High.. is this the UKs attempt at out creeping the creepy American High School Musical?
As if kids aren't brainwashed enough by crud like X factor into thinking you don't need to study for a career, just be able hold a note and swing your ar5e and you'll be rolling in clover. If it was on a BBC channel, I'd be demanding a refund of my licence fee.

14 AntwortenComedyvor 1 JahrzehntDo you think Robbie Williams is trying to weasel his way back into Take That now that they are Mega again?
Reports are that he's been seen sucking up to Gary Barlow.. frankly, I think they are better off without that egomaniac.

17 AntwortenElectionsvor 1 JahrzehntDoes the new Employment and Support Allowance which replaces Incapacity Benefit an admission by the Government?
That they do not recognise Mental health issues as a disability? I think it's shocking myself that unless you are virtually in a permanent vegetative state, they now won't provide you with assistance.. yet they happily use our tax £'s to prop up dishonest banking fat cats, earning fat bonuses and their dodgy banking practices. I know the benefit system needs reforming, but I sure as heck know where I'd rather see MY money being spent..

11 AntwortenWords & Wordplayvor 1 JahrzehntShould Brown be using the oportunity to overhaul the banking system?
Rather than propping up a corrupt, moribund and flawed system? The west is using Trillions of dollars to artificially maintaining a system that obviously doesn't work, and will only crash again at some point in the future..
7 AntwortenCurrent Eventsvor 1 JahrzehntX Factor UK: Austin cried NO MORE than any of the other contestants, why is everyone picking on him?
.. he has a dream and wants it with all his heart, is that such a bad thing? At least he's not made up or played on any hard luck stories to worm his way into the live gigs. The boy has got a talent, and you can see it in Simon Cowell's eyes..
