Let's just assume for argument's sake that there is a God and one day you stood before Him and you asked him the meaning of life. Would he give you an answer in words? Such as "life is just a bowl of cherries". Or would he do something like fill you with bliss and light and ecstatic visions to shut you up from asking dumb questions?

Is there any chance of turning your day around?

where can I get an old hippie avatar? I know I could take my own photo and use it but I don't want to break my camera. A cartoony old person photo with long hair would do nicely. I mean, I'm 63 and my avatar looks like he's 15. Anyone know?

Rather than heaven and hell being 'objective', that is, places outside of you where you go after you die depending on how you behave, but conditions that are current and right now. Your inner experience which is created by you and can be changed. If you are kind and loving and humble then you have a heavenly experience. If you are arrogant and easily angered and vain and negative, then you have a hellish experience. So maybe, heaven and hell are right here, right now, inside of you. Didn't Jesus say "the kingdom of heaven is at hand"?. Maybe that means right now and right here, not some other place at some other time.
