1 AntwortEngineeringvor 8 JahrenChristians who believe the Bible is true...please answer?
Ok so u believe the Bible is 100% true, how can you believe this when the person who wrote it can't even keep track of what he wrote before:
1. if we read, in Ezra Ch. No. 2, Verse No. 65, it says…There were 200 singing men and women - Nehemiah Ch. No. 7, Verse No. 67…‘There were 245 singing men and women.’ Were they 200 - or were they 245 singing men and women? Context is the same - A mathematical contradiction.
2. It is mentioned in the 2nd Kings, Ch. No 24, Verse No 8, that…‘Jehoiachin was 18 years old, when he began to reign Jerusalem, and he reigned for 3 months and 10 days. 2nd Chronicles, Ch. No 36, Verse No 9, says that…‘Jehoiachin was 8 years old when he began to reign and he reigned for 3 months, 10 days. Was Jehoiachin 18 years when he began to reign, or was he 8 years old?
3. Further, it is mentioned in the 1st Kings, Ch. No 7, Verse No 26, that…‘In Solomon’s temple, in his molten sea, he had 2000 baths. In 2nd Chronicles, Ch. No 4, Verse No 5, he had 3000 baths. Did he have 2000 baths or did he have 3000 baths?
4. Furthermore. it is mentioned in the First Kings, Ch. No. 15, Verse No. 33, that… ‘Basha, he died in the 26th year of reign of Asa.’ And 2nd Chronicles Ch. No 16, Verse No 1, says that…‘Basha invaded Judah in the 36th years of the reign of Asa.’ How can Basha invade 10 years after his death? - It is unscientific.
I think it is clear that this book is not from God, and i haven't even mentioned the scientific contradictions in Genesis yet...i think it's fair to say if you believe in this book, you are wrong.

1 AntwortMathematicsvor 9 JahrenCan someone help with pin jointed trusses?
http://s1322.beta.photobucket.com/user/Kelwan/medi...
ok in the pic there is a force with magnitude 90kN pointing downwards, so there must be a reaction force of 90kN pointing upwards distributed on joints A, F and D. I'm meant to find the internal forces but i can only do this if i know the how the reaction force is distributed,
How can i find that out? Please help ! !
Also in my diagram there are two supports at A and D each with a different symbol, what do these symbols mean?
thanks !
1 AntwortEngineeringvor 9 JahrenHelp me solve this mechanics moments question?
basically there is a beam with 90kN down and 3 other forces going up and space between each force is 4cm, can you find each force using moments and by resolving vertically?
here's the picture:
http://s1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/Kelwan/?a...
also the answers are :
-force at A = 30 kN
-force at F = 0 kN
-force at D = 60 kN
sorry about the pic i can't rotate it :/
please show all working,
Thank you !
2 AntwortenEngineeringvor 9 JahrenQuestion about shearing strength...?
"the ultimate shearing strength of mild steel is 340 N/mm^2 . Calculate the force required to punch a 26 mm diameter hole in a 13 mm plate."
Ok so all you have to do is calculate the area and multiply it by 340 to get the Shearing force, BUT is it the cross sectional area? or surface area? The actual shape will be a cylinder of diameter 26 mm and height 13mm. The answer for force is 360 kN. which works when the area is 2(Pi 13^2) but why is the area not just pi 13^2 > why is the area multiplied by 2?
If shearing stress= Force / Area , then Area of what exactly???
1 AntwortPhysicsvor 9 JahrenWhy is density constant when a substance is incompressible ?
ok this is how i see it:
if K= - delta pressure / (delta volume/ volume)
and when something is incompressible, the K= 0,
so delta pressure = 0 as well,
and because pressure is inversely proportional to volume then, if there is NO change in pressure there is no change in volume.
SO using density = mass / volume,
and knowing that mass never changes then as a results Density does not change as both mass and volume are constant.
i made it up as i went along, but have i missed something, is this really why density is constant when a fluid is incompressible????
Please explain,
Thank you :)
