In Texas- Law question for 16 yrs old?
Can my nephew who is 15- 2 months from being 16 decide if he wants to move to Seattle with his mom or stay here in Texas with his dad? Supposedly they have joint custody but of course he has stayed with his mother for the most part. She is now moving to Seattle after school this year. My nephew does not want to go, he wants to move in with his dad and stay close to his friends here. His mom says he has no choice in the matter; that he has to go with her.
I have always heard that at age 13, the children can decide who they want to live with. How do we go about finding out the facts and proceeding with it?

It feels like I have a ball in my left ear, every time I tilt my head I can feel stuff moving around in there; sometimes it even hurts, like a sharp pain. my neck on the same side is hurting too, I can barely move my head to look side to side, would that have something to do with my ear problem?? This has been going on for a few days now and this morning both my ears are totally plugged up and I can barely hear anything.

Bonnie and Carmen are lab partners in a chemistry class. Their chemistry experiment calls for 5-ounce mixture that is 65% acid and 35% distilled water. There is no pure acid in the chemistry lab, but they did find two mixtures that are labeled as containing some acid. Mixture A contains 70% acid and 30% distilled water. Mixture B contains 20% acid and 80% distilled water. How many ounces of each mixture should they use to make 5 ounce mixture that is 65% acid and 35% distilled water?
It is required to justify you solution in THREE different ways to receive full credit; solve the problem using symbols (solve algebraically), tables (with different ammounts of the mixture, etcc) and graphs (of functions you will define)
Thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide me.

The horizontal surface on which the block of
mass 4.3 kg slides is frictionless. The force
of 42 N acts on the block in a horizontal
direction. The force of 84 N acts on the block
at an angle as shown below.
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2 .
4.3 kg >>>>>>>

Part 1.
The instruments attached to a weather bal-
loon have a mass of 5.7 kg. The balloon is
released and exerts an upward force of 95.9 N
on the instruments.
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2 .
What is the acceleration of the balloon and
the instruments? Answer in units of m/s2.
Part 2
After the balloon has accelerated for 8.4 s, the
instruments are released.
What is the velocity of the instruments at
the moment of their release? Answer in units
of m/s.
part 3
Assume: The upward direction is positive.
What net force acts on the instruments
after their release? Answer in units of N.
part 4
How long after their release does the direc-
tion of their velocity first become downward
(negative)? Answer in units of s.
