My boyfriend is a great deal older than me. He's 27 years older and although we have obstacles standing in our way (he's white, i'm black), the age difference, he has a child, he has degrees and i'm still working on my bachelor's etc. we still manage to work at our relationship. Well, going into this relationship I wasn't too keen on the whole him having a kid idea but I fell in love so with love came the child. His kid lives with us 100% of the time and rarely visits his mom who lives 30 minutes away. Well, too make a long story short my boyfriend's ex wife is married, has another child with her husband and is STILL in love with my man. So many things she has said and did have proven it. I don't respect her because she has disrespected me in the past. I have gave her chances to make up for it but I can only take so much. I have a major grudge against this woman. So finally... today my boyfriend calls me and he tells me that the ex has planned a movie date with the four of us. Me, my bf, their son and her. I am so not happy about this. 1.) He didn't ask me first and 2.) Why are we going as a family? Do you guys think this is out of the ordinary and I'm in the right and should confront him or do you think I should just go along with it?

I'm wanting to buy a few wigs but have never own one. I just want something that I can pull over my head, fluff with my fingers and a brush if necessary and go. I DO NOT WANT TO CORNROW MY HAIR OR GLUE ANYTHING IN IT. Any suggestions? Please!

Tyler Perry's "Precious" OR Chris Rock's "Good Hair"?

This is specifically about African American hair. Weeks after my hair has been relaxed the new growth or new hair comes in and is much coarser and it makes my scalp tender. Is this because there's two textures and the thick hair is struggling to push through the scalp?
