We moved into a house fueled by propane. The furnace flame is orange. I expected to see the pretty natural gas blue. So does propane burn cooler than natural gas?

I just adopted an older dog from the Humane Society. They said he had 24 teeth pulled when he was there. He won't let me see and I don't know how many teeth he has left. Poor thing!

I have a Xerox Phaser 6180 and I need to replace a toner cartridge. When searching prices I found I could buy the toner only and refill the cartridge for about half the cost of buying a new cartridge. Feedback that I have had from people indicated that toner usually leaks out of cartridges that have been refilled. However, this was not for my particular printer. I am looking for a little feedback. Is it worth the savings or should I spend the money to get a replacement cartridge?

I have a 1999 Ford Taurus SE with a 3.0 liter engine. I had to replace the starter years ago and can't remember what it cost me.

What do you add to your tuna fish? Dill weed or dill pickles? Onions? Celery? Oh do tell!

My husband and I have been together for 23 years. He has been out of work for over two years. I have been out of work for over three years. We manage to make ends meet with little endeavors here and there, but we have no health insurance and no retirement. He has retrained several times but can't find a job. I also need some continuing ed, but we can't do that right now, so my job has evolved and I have not. So currently we can't find work and money is running out. My husband has lost interest in intimacy. He does not "lead" the family in anything and seems distant. I question sometimes what we even accomplish by staying together. We are both in our mid 40s. So do you think this is the result of the crappy economy and no jobs or is this a mid-life crisis?

If some nice pay-it-forward benefactor paid your mortgage or rent for an entire year, would you save or squander the extra money?

I lost my job due to a reduction in force over 2.5 years ago. I have over 15 years of experience, but have not had an offer since. Now there is nothing even to apply to. My unemployment ran out I can't even remember when. My Cobra insurance ran out last year and I could not afford to convert the policy (who could?)

Since I am no longer part of the unemployment insurance statistics I feel invisible to government and media. I know a lot of people without jobs and only one of them still qualifies for unemployment. So I was curious how many of you are in the same situation. What is your story and what is your profession?

I have a cut up chicken and I am wondering what I should do with it. We are tired of baked chicken and rice and although my husband says he is not fussy, he really is. He does not like sweet flavors mixed with meat, so pineapple chicken is out. We are also tired of plain old fried chicken or shake and bake chicken. So what is your favorite way to prepare chicken?
