This question is related to dating.

I'm interested in meeting new people and possibly dating, but I often encounter a problem, concerning first dates.

The options are either, A) Movies B) Dinner C) Drinks or D) Dancing.

A) I don't like movies for first dates because I like talking and getting to know the person I am with

B) I can do this, no problem

C) I don't drink, but that's not to say I am against it, I just don't have many friends who do.

D) I don't dance. Of all the things I will try, dancing is the very last thing on my list. No.

So my options are, either, go to dinner, or go to bar, since they both involve opportunities to socialize.

So, should I venture out and get to know bars, or just stick to what I know?

I've been teaching myself music and I've found the order of sharps and flats to be quite useful, but I am confused as to whether this "tool" can also be used to identify minor scales. For instance, if there are sharps on F and C of the musical staff, then I would deduce the the key of the tune to be D Major. Could I then assume the key to be D Minor as well?

I haven't looked at the circle of 5ths just of yet, but am I making the correct assumption?

Now, to clarify my question, I mean that males with UNCOMBED hair are called messy and unattractive, but females that just get out bed are fine.

I mean personally, I don't mind messy hair on a girl more so than dirty and unwashed hair.

Or is that what people mean to say? (That men should wash their hair, which I assumed people like doing anyways)?????

When Plank put forth his theory of the quantization of energy involving light as a wave, why was the particle or photon theory light introduced if the energy of light could be explained through an understanding of light as a wave of various frequencies?

I am trying to render a video that I made of me, and the video fails to render because something is wrong with my copy of vegas (or my computer), it says that there is insufficient memory to execute or something along those lines.

It's a vlog I made. If you could render it for me, and get the rendered video back to me, I would feel very grateful. I would be in your debt, so you could ask for any computer-related help you may need.

P.S. The video is just me talking about random stuff. Nothing bad or stupid.

We are not very talented or skilled, but, we have a singing drummer, a lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist thus far who can play "simple" songs. We've covered these so far:

1) Mariana's Trench - Fallout (I didn't really wanna cover this one . . . .)

2) Skillet - Hero

3) Breaking Benjamin - Crawl

and Plan to cover:

- Breaking Benjamin - Hopeless

- Iron Maiden - Wasted Years

We are able to play most breaking benjamin, disturbed and three days grace songs, BUT, I would really like to cover other bands with songs that can be played within our skill range.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated =)

here is the question:

Calculate the amount of pure substance present (in moles) in the following sample of pure substance: (a) a 10.00-kg bag of table sugar

I don't understand how I find the number of moles of the pure substance ( which I think is NaCl )

The answer to the question (which the book provides) is 29.21 mol

f(x)=4(x+4)² is the vertex form equation. When plotted on a graph, it's vertex is (4,0)

Why then is the standard form of this vertex form equation (f(x)=4x²+8x+16) create a different parabola when graphed? Isn't the standard form equation supposed to equal it's vertex form equation and vice versa?

If there is an error with my standard form equation, than I would know because I have checked it over, but if you still see any errors, please let me know)

What do you think is the difference between if you are raised being taught to be a certain way rather than being taught to not be a certain way?

For example, I feel that I was taught not to be a criminal, liar, thief, mooch, thug, drug-abuser, etc... instead of being told what to be like. Sure, my parents would suggest how I should act, such as in a confident, bold and certain manner; however, I never learned how to become what I should have become. (P.S, this is not about me not being a certain way, rather, its about me not being able to feel comfortable with myself since I am always being compared to the deviants of society).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated =)

What are the parts of a presentation made to persuade the audience?

The order is intro, middle and ending where each section has its own goal to persuade the audience into thinking differently.

I'm very selective about what I like and what I don't and I feel as if this puts me at odds with other people since I can't relate or speak about topics that others generally feel comfortable with.

What I really feel is that I am faking my smiles, nodding my head, chiming in with a "yeah" there or an "ok" here and I don't have much people who I connect with. I feel as if this is the first time in my life where I don't feel comfortable. I don't want to fit in, yet I want to be at peace with myself...

Well, I feel as if I like to talk about things such as world issues, entertainment (mostly criticism), anime, childhood experiences and psychology, and this is all find and dandy, but when it comes to relating to others who would rather talk about cars, money, comic books and video games, I feel like the odd one out who would rather read some Aristotle or Krishnamurti over watching TV and joking around. While I do think that I have a comedic and wild side to me, I usually only stray from my usual behaviour when I am high, hyper or just really happy.

Any advice for a person who feels awkward and out of place?

I feel that the root causes of social anxiety are probably those disapproving looks and shouts from my parents like pleas to keep me from being to different. The angered faces of friends or teachers in school and the the image of authority opposing the unorthodox ways of the child are possible factors, in addition to my parents, owing to my perception of my-self.
