I am in New York for one night, and there are tickets available for both shows at 8 PM. I personally know cast members in both shows (although in Book of Mormon they are understudies and may not be in that evenings performance). I would really like the opinion of someone who has seen both shows, but if you haven't, please try and give me the best answer you can.

I'm currently in a show where I am required to do splits on my right, which I was able to do just fine until about two days ago. It seems that now matter how well I stretch, I can't seem to go into the splits anymore. The show opens next weekend, and I don't know what to do. Are there any stretches I can do to help get it back?

And even though I know the movie and everything, I'm curious as to how big her part is in the musical. I know that she sings Learning to be Silent with Vi Moore but that's all I know. If anyone can tell me more about the part that would be really helpful!

I already have the perfect monologue but i really need a song. I'm considering I Can Hear the Bells from Hairspray, but it's really really overdone. I honestly have no idea what else i could sing that would fit the genre of the show.

Im 14 years old, soprano, have a super strong head voice but not that great of a belt voice. im going for the role of Rusty and maybe Ariel. Any help would be great!

do you think i should stay in the show? cause some people are saying i should stay and some people are saying i shouldnt. Im thinking about dropping but this is also my very first speaking part so i really dont know what to do.... this is also a mainly acting part little singing and no dancing, so im not sure if its worth it

Okay I have posted 4 questions already and have not gotten any good answers so someone please answer this because I really need a monologue soon before my audition. And I have looked everywhere online and I can't find any good monologues.

I really despratley need this. I've already posted many questions asking this but I haven't gotten any good monologues. I'm a 13 year old girl so please keep the monologues young, not like ones about men and husbands (which is pretty much all I'm finding online). It has to be a comedic monolouge because I'm auditioning for Willy Wonka, and last I checked it was a comedy. It can be from either a play or musical, I dont really care, but not from Willy Wonka. It needs to be at least one minute long. The part I'm hoping for is Veruca Salt so if the monolouge was kind of snobby that would really help. Also, please no overdone monolouges because there are alot of those. Please answer and thanks so much!!!!

it needs to be at least one minute long and its got to be comedic but contemporary... (Shakespeare isnt really a good idea). im not going for a specific part but even though these are opposite characters i would like to get either veruca salt or charlies mother. please help be cause i have no idea what to use and ive looked all over the internet and nothing seems to fit any part of the show. thanks alot!!!!

and it is a production of ages 7 to 18, so its obviously an amateur production.

I am 12 but almost 13 and i need some songs that i can sing for the audition. we cannot use any songs from the production we are auditioning for.

i need a song that has power, but not so much that my adolocent voice cracks. i might be able to belt certain notes though.

i am a girl with a mezzo-soprano voice but i can sing very high and fairly low.

today is the birthday party of two close family freinds who are siblings. one of them is in 5th grade, and i, no longer in 5th grade, have no idea what to get her. keep in mind that she doesnt enjoy reading so books are not an option.

also the little boy in 3rd grade doesnt enjoy reading either.... and i have never been a boy in 3rd grade so i have no idea what to get him. please help, because i need to get the presents soon!

i finally got the courage to freind request this guy i like on myspace yesterday, but he was just online and he completely ignored the freind request. and i really like him and im positive this means he barley knows i exist(even though i kno he knows who i am)... and i have absolutely no idea how to handel this cuz im crying and none of my friends are sucseeding at comforting me and i wish more than anything he would talk to me but i know he doesnt care

but i have a pretty good range, from down to an E to up to a high A

and i have alot of power in my voice and i prefer songs with power and belting

im in eighth grade and ive liked the same guy since the beggining or 6th grade. actually i think im in love with him. he is all i ever think about and even when he does stupid weird things, he still seems perfect to me. the only problem is that we live in completely different worlds. he never talks to me, and when he does its just "im sorry" or "excuse me" when he bumps into me in the hall. i feel like there is no hope. and i cry every night just cause i kno i cant be with him. but i want more than anything just to be good freinds with him. but we have no classes together and we never talk. im pretty close with a few of his friends, but he doesnt seem to ever even look at me and it absolutely kills me inside. please give me tips to either get over him or get with him.
