I am going to be doing my end of year exam tomorrow and it is not the official igcse but my teacher said that he is going to give be giving our class an actual math paper from the 1980s just because we won't be able to find any on the internet. i am freaking out about it. does anybody know if the papers then were harder than now? and if yes, how hard were they? was the wording different? or if anyone took any of those test, any topics that is likely to show up?

oh and i'm taking paper 2 tomorrow but will be taking paper 4 as well.

my skin is very oily and acne prone so it is very hard to find make up that is suitable for my skin.

i'm okay with all the lipstick, mascara etc. i'm just trying to find a good foundation because when i use a normal foundation it tends to get messed up during the day as my face gets oily and then it just looks like i'm sweaty. -_-

any suggestions? i don't live in the US so i may not be able to get some of the products that they sell there. but honestly just any types of foundation you guys have tried before and think that works well.

i have some questions i don't get regarding electrolysis,

basically there are two solutions

a) sodium chloride

b) copper (II) chloride.

the questions are:

- why and how the ions move, when each solution is electrolysed using platinum electrodes.

- write half equations for the reactions at the anode and at the cathode during the electrolysis of each solution.

-explain why the anode reactions for both reactions are the same.

- explain why copper is obtained at the cathode but sodium is not.

i don't expect you to know the answer for all the questions but if you know the answer for any one of them then please help! thanks. :)

It's quite complicated to explain but basically we have to go through a series of different activities to achieve an award. We are going on our practice expedition to camp in the jungle. We have to bring food in our backpacks and cook a dinner, lunch and breakfast. we already have dinner sorted out but we are having problems on deciding a breakfast and lunch. if you want you can give suggestions for dinner too. the meals have to be nutritious, consisting of a protein, a fibre, a vegetable and a carbohydrate. preferably not too heavy as we have to carry them ourselves and foods that need to be refrigerated or can't be kept overnight won't work either. we have a few ideas for lunch but barely any for breakfast. we MUST cook a breakfast so stuff out of a box, like energy bars, will not work. please! we really need help and any suggestions are appreciated! thank you! :)

i know it's easy to find out the number of electrons on the outer shell of an atom with a small atomic number. for example Sodium would have 11 electrons so the electronic configuration would be 2,8,1 with 1 electron on it's outer shell. but what if it's a atom with a larger atomic number like Silver or Platinum? how are you suppose to know how many electrons are on each ring? thanks. please help! :)

i'm a little confused on how to write chemical formulas for my science homework. could somebody explain? this is one of the questions and when i tried doing it i got AgO3 which i'm pretty sure is wrong.
