About 2 or so hours ago i noticed the the right half of my upper lip began to swell, and now it is huge. It goes all the way up under my nose. I'm not allergic to anything, and i havent done anything different today. So i am wondering if it might have swelled like this because of my Chronic hives even though i dont have hives anywhere on my body right now. Also, i have a common cold and was wondering if that might bring this on somehow? I am a little worried a0nd wondering when i should see a doctor. Also, its not really painful except its so swollen its pushing on my braces and hurting a little. What should i do ?

I have been breaking out in hives since February for no apparent reason and have done everything i can think of!! At first i would get a few patches of hives on various parts of my body about once a week or so. Now it has gotten to the point where it is giving m panic attacks, and i am breaking out almost every day with hives covering my entire body,including my face. Some of them get to the size of dinner plates. I have seen 3 doctors for this, but i seems that there is nothing they can do to help me. I have taken Prednisone (a sterroid) 3 times in the last 6 months, and its not good for me. I am currently waiting to see an allergist and get an allergy pannel done, but i have tried baking soda baths, oatmeal bahs, about every over the counter anti - itch cream/lotion/spray, I have tried Zyrtec, Cleariton and Benidryl (Benidryl seems to help but it makes me so tired i can't take it while i am at work, and i don't like to drive on it) Is there anthing else i can try?? I will do anything to make this itch stop!! Thank you in advance.

I was recently prescribed the medication "Paxil" But i am worried about taking it. I have never been on a prescription drug, so i don't know how my body will react. Also, i was told not to take it until i was done with another medication i needed to take for my condition, so i haven't started it yet. I just finished the other medication, but i want to wait to take paxil until i have a couple days off of work so that when i can take it i can make sure that i won't be sick and to make sure i can drive on that medication and everything. Also, i am going on vacation to Vegas this weekend, and riding there with a family member, so i wanted to start taking it then, but while i am in Vegas i wanted to have a couple drinks, so i was wondering if you can not drink AT ALL while taking this medication, or if you just shouldn't drink alcohol to swallow he pill? Thanks in advance..

I have been waking up for the last week or two with mosquito-like bites. They look and feel like mosquito bites, but i have never seen any in my house. Was wondering if they are possibly bedbug bites? And what would i do to get rid of those? TIA!

So i put a plastic goblin window cover up for halloween, its a window that sees the sun all day long. I went to take it off today but its like its melted to the window and my windows are plexiglass. I have tried scraping it off, using running alcohol and nail polish remover but nothing works! Does anyone have suggestions??

I am just wondering. Yes, i DO vacuum but my vacuum is a piece of crap. I need to have my carpets cleaned when my dog leaves my apartment, but i wont be able to thoroughly vacuum the place because of my vacuum. Thanks for your help :)

I got a call from this phone number (202) 367-9070 asking to speak with my husband. I informed the man that i was his wife, and asked what the call was about. He then told me i would need to identify his birthday (which i did) and our home address. At that point i did not feel comfortable giving any information to a man over the phone that will not give me any information about what he is calling about, or where he is calling from so i gave the phone to my husband. He then tried to identify that it was my husband, but my husband would not give out any information and the man on the phone would not tell us what he was calling about. My husband then told the man that he does not feel comfortable giving any information to identify himself over the phone to someone that will not reveal who they are and hung up. But when i identified my husbands birthday, the man told me the call was being recorded. I am freaking out now, because i don't know who these people are! We looked up the phone number, and it says it is a collection agency but all the reviews i have read made it sound like a scam. I don't know what to think. Help please?

So, i just got my 9th tattoo last night so i am not new to the experience or the aftercare or anything. But this is the first one i have gotten on the lower half of my body (on the side of my right calf) itsa maybe 2 in by 2 in. Today it is swollen which i know is normal, but it is also warm to the touch and my calf muscle throbs like i was working out or something. Could it be because i was flexing my calf for the whole 3 hours trying not to twitch? This is also the first tattoo that i have that has a lot of color in it, i don't know if that would be a factor? Anyways.. Just hoping this is normal :) Haven't experienced a tattoo like this before. Thanks in advance!

So i just moved into my new home about 3 weeks ago, and when we first moved in we noticed a problem with ants in the bathroom sink. We flushed them down with hot water and they didn't come back. However they are now invading my kitchen! They are ALL OVER my kitchen sink and counter and even on every shelf in my pantry. I always keep my food sealed tight and keep a clean kitchen. I don't know what they are after! But it's not just a few ants, there are thousands!! :( What is the best product i could buy that will KILL them? And also what are some home remedies to help keep them away?

Just wondering. My husband and i had intercorse twice in like the last week and a half (no protection) and today when i was drinking water, it made me gag a little and feel a little nausious. Thats not normal for me. Also, i have been getting extremely hot at night and my husband says that he feels perfectly normal, even a little cool sometimes. I was just wondering if it is too early for these to be signs. of pregnancy? Or maybe Aunt flo is on her way? Thanks in advance.

When i was a kid we used to have Winder Farms deliver to us, and i loved it! Now that i am married myself, i would like to start that again. I was just wondering if they take food stamps? I am on a really tight budget.

Is it legal for your boss to tell you that you HAVE to stay for an hour after your shift? Or am i free to leave when i am scheduled to leave? Especially if you work at a call center and they want you to call people at 11 pm ..... Just wondering.

The supervisors have been really nasty to both my husband and i for about a week now, and we have no clue why. They are usually pretty nice to us. But we are sick of going to work and being disrespected. In the last week one of the supervisors threatened to toilet paper our house behind our back (he told other employees that he wanted to do it) and the manager stood there and laughed about it! and he made me feel like an idiot because i spelled a word wrong. Another supervisor told us that if we didn't stay past our shift, that she would not let us go on break next time we asked and that we could come in and work a full shift without getting paid for it and another supervisor was just really rude with some of his comments to us today. We haven't done anything wrong and we are among the top employees where we work. It is very strange they are acting this way, and quite frankly i am getting very irritated! I don't even feel comfortable at work with them acting this way.

But the problem i am having is finding the right person to contact about my complaints. My husbands uncle is the boss of the manager where we work, and is at the corporate office. That is who we would usually contact, but where he is family i don't want to get him involved because if he thinks that our argument is correct, and talks to our manager about it she could think that it is nepotism and fire us. But we can't talk to our manager either, because one of the supervisors that i am having difficulties with is her cousin, and she would favor his side and not do anything to solve the problem. I am in a big predicament here and could really use some advice. Thanks in advance!

She has been having a pain in her kidney area, at first we thought it was a sore muscle but it doesnt help to be massaged. That part of her back is also a little swollen. Her urine is a little foggy and has a very strong smell. She is only 12. I was wondering what this could be?

I have has this spot on my skin for just a little over a week now. At first, i thought it was a scratch from letting my pet rat sit on my shoulder. Then it got a little bigger and i thought it was a group of pimples, but now it is this big. (pictures included) I am thinking it might be a spider bit now but i dont know?? It itches sometimes but not constantly. I have been putting rubbing alcohol and lavender essential oil on it but is has not been improving. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!

Can a fractured bone with no open wound get infected if its not taken care of?

My dog has been gone all day, she ran away, but i just found her laying in her kennel. She is very tired and seems lethargic. :( She also doesn't want to drink any water.. And she wan't excited to see me like she normally is. I made sure to check her whole body for any wounds, but there is none. Although when i touched her elbow on her front left leg she whimpered in pain :( Just near her elbow though, no where else on that leg. Does this sound like a broken bone or a torn ligament? I was just wondering if i could wait it out for a day, and see if it was just sprained or what? I am scared. :( I don't like my baby to be hurting!!!
