I was an atheist - not a skeptical one but a dead set atheist. When christians came to my home, they left shaking their heads and sometimes wondering if what they believed was true. NOTHING any christian ever said converted me. I started believing in the possibility of a supreme intelligence by (1) studying nature and (2) reading of scientific research and what had been discovered. I don't ever try to convert an atheist - they will have to discover or not discover on their own. But then because of where I started - atheists will never change me either.

name for god is not the same as the real god. It means the supreme god and most other religions believe there is one god. Because they don't accept jesus as divine doesn't mean their name for god is a false god. The bible uses many names for god.Because its expressed in another language doesn't mean they are referring to a false god.

Some christians believe that this scripture means we are not to judge others for things we may be doing ourselves. I think it means to not judge - God will do that - we cannot see the future, the heart or the motives. Comments?
