Was the Earth literally created by a Judeo-Christian deity?
...or is this an over-simplified allegory?
12 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 7 JahrenHorus was worshipped 5,000 years ago in Egypt as being the resurrected Messiah.?
Did Christians simply copy the concept or is there verifiable evidence that Jesus Christ existed? I am not aware of any.

10 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 7 JahrenI have a question for Christians and anyone of any other religion: When was God created?
Atheists are certainly welcome to add a sardonic quip.
21 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 10 JahrenDid the Resurrection of Christ actually happen?
This is a question for Christians, agnostics, atheists, and anyone else who would like to participate. Allow me to preface my questions by explaining that I fully understand that the Resurrection is the central doctrine in Christianity. However, was this an actual event with documented witnesses or is it a mere allegory to symbolize the spirituality of Christians? In other words, is it possible for a human to become resurrected?
33 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntWho has the better argument?
Atheists claim that no deities exist. Creationists believe that a deity called God created the earth. All emotions and faith aside, who has the better argument? Is it atheists or creationists?
19 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntChristians and any other theists, were you ever encouraged to question the existence of God?
If so, what was your age and what were the circumstances?
14 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntHow did morality originate?
This is a question for atheists, creationists, and anyone in between. Is morality man-made, a by-product of religion, or neither?

19 AntwortenGender Studiesvor 1 JahrzehntA question for Christians. Atheists, chime in if you must. Is it possible that earth was NOT?
created by a Judeo-Christian deity known as God? If not, how can you be so sure that the earth had a divine creator?
19 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntAtheists and all theists: Is the concept of God completely man-made? If not, when did God originate?
Also, how did God originate?
8 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntChristians, is it possible that Jesus didn't exist? Atheists and anyone else may respond.?
I cannot say with complete certainty that Jesus Christ did not exist but I am reasonably sure that he did not. There is no physical evidence to support Jesus Christ's existence. There are no eyewitness accounts, works of carpentry, self-written manuscripts, or Roman record of Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus Christ. All claims about Jesus Christ derive from writings of people who never met him and came well after he supposedly existed. On top of that, the concept of a messiah being born of a virgin mother is an allegory which has been recycled multiple times for at least 5,000 years, i.e. Horus was worshiped in Ancient Egypt as the Savior and was born from the virgin Isis. Please explain why you believe, with full assurance, that Jesus Christ existed.
19 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntDid Jesus Christ exist or is it a hoax?
Inscribed about 3,500 years ago on the walls of the Temple of Luxor were images of the Annunciation, Immaculate Conception, Birth, and Adoration of Horus. Attis of Phrygia (c. 1400 BCE) was the Divine Son born on December 25th of the Virgin Nana (or sometimes Cybelem), crucified on a tree on "Black Friday," considered the savior for the salvation of mankind, and descended into the underworld for three days. Heracles (c. 800 BCE) was born on December 25th to a virgin. Tammuz (c. 400 BCE) was born to a virgin on December 25th. Dionysus (c. 186 BCE) was born of a virgin on December 25th and, as the Holy Child, was placed in a manger, rose from the dead on March 25th, turned water into wine, and was considered the “Only Begotten Son.” Does anyone see a trend here? The concept of Jesus Christ, who was not written about until the fourth century, is merely a recycled cliché and there is no historical evidence that he existed.
12 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntDo you believe, in your heart of hearts, that the earth was created by a Judeo-Christian deity?
If so, do you believe that any other deities exist?
21 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntChristians, Atheists, and anyone else: Did God create Man or is God 100% man-made?
All answers are welcome but if you feel that God is not 100% man-made, please explain why you feel this way in a cogent, sensible, and intelligible manner. In other words, please do not waste time by regurgitating transparent rhetoric, recycled slogans, or silly emotional responses.
10 AntwortenReligion & Spiritualityvor 1 JahrzehntDid God create the world?
Since Hinduism is unquestionably two thousand years older than Christianity, why would anybody believe that a Judeo-Christian deity named "God" create the world? I am not saying Christians are wrong; I am just trying to decipher the logic.
