Right now I am laying in the hospital with a severe hip fracture that could affect me for the rest of my life. I am and avid cyclist, mountain biker and hiker and I am very worried that I will have life long problems associated with this injury that will limit me from participating in my favorite activities.

I have finally obtained a copy of the accident report and was mortified to see that I listed as the 'at fault driver'. I suffered a minor concussion during the accident, but I can remember every single event that lead to the accident. In short I was T-boned by an suv doing 50mph trying to make the light as I received the left turn green signal. The lone witness's statement is a complete lie. No tickets were issued for the accident, but as mentioned the report listed me as at fault.

As I am lying here with a broken body, out of work for three months, out of a car, and as it seems out of luck. I am wondering I have any hope for getting my life back and getting some sort of compensation.

I have been offered a position with the Census Bureau as a GIS Tech 1. The position offers great pay and benefits but I am worried about it being dull and boring compared to my current job as a bicycle mechanic. Is this position glorified data entry? or is there some interesting component to the position to make a ten hour shift intriguing?

It was snowing pretty bad yesterday and I slid hard into a curb. I thought everything was fine until upon driving away from the curb the wheel was making a loud gyrating noise. Went out and looked at the wheel and there was a huge dent in the wheel. Cussed at the situation and then attempted to drive home. The car was pulling hard to the left and rubbing hard against the wheel well. When I got home I could see that the wheel had moved to the rear of the well and was rubbing against the back of it. This is the front right wheel.

I would appreciate any expertise on the situation. Tie rod perhaps?

Is it safe to drive to the local mechanics?

I am getting ok at doing a stationary ollie, but can't pull off an ollie with speed. I think I might be a little scared since every time I try I usually fall.

I'm old (26) and heavy so falling hurts.

My two choices are either going down route 80 or route 40. They are pretty much the same in distance, but I am not entirely sure what the topography of the two routes are like.

In the end I fell in love with the Lynskey, and I decided that I will be purchasing a custom titanium mountain bike for this racing season. Thanks to the helpful staff at the Wheelie King I have finally decided on the bicycle that is right for me.

I am having a problem with my gf's sudden reconversion to ultra conservative Christianity.

When I met my girlfriend 4 years ago she was born again. I considered myself to be a skeptic and indicated this to her. She seemed not to care, and we got intensely involved. We moved in together, shared a bed, and an apartment and the Bible quotes were quickly taken down from her apartment walls.

Her family is also conservative christian and they never accepted me or treated me with any amount of respect. Infact, I am not even allowed to use their bathroom due to my unbeliever status-- I have to use the schools down the street. For our entire relationship her parents have not welcome us into the home.

Fast forward 4 years and we are still living together despite years of tough strains and trials. She has finished college and I am graduating this semester. Suddenly she has decided that she has been saved again. She acts the same, talks, and complains the same, but now she "feels Christ" inside her. She knows the bible inside and out (been saved and baptized 4 times previously) so in order for her to follow Christ she must:

(1) Be pure in the eyes of the lord. No sex before marriage (Despite 4 years of a live-in relationship)

(2) Do not yoke with unbelievers since they can understand what it is to be christian

I do not believe and probably never will. I love her more then anything, but I can't live apart from her now and pretend that its normal. Marriage can not solve the problem because I don't believe.
