I pulled my steering column apart today to fix the blinker switch cam behind it. when I went to put everything back together I couldn't get the locking plate reinstalled. i pushed away for hours but couldn't get it down far enough. Then I went and bought a locking plate remover/installer and still it won't push the plate down far enough to reveal the groove for the snap ring. WTF what am I doing wrong, i'm breaking the installer and bending the GD lock plate. Any help from a mech would be appreciated.

Does an Expungement in California release the ban imposed by the Lautenberg Amendment for a misdemeanor DV conviction? Some say yes, some no. I can't seem to get a straight answer. Is it in any circuit of the Supreme court? Any advice from a professional Legal entity with sources would be greatly appreciated. Please don't get on here and ridicule me. Yes i f@#$ed up, yes I accept responsibility. Yes I paid oh christ did I pay from the time, money, my family, respect from my family and peers, ended military career to lost dreams of Law Enforcement. She punched me, I threw a microwave. No matter what happened I should have controlled my actions. I am only seeking advice. Finally I AGREE with how Lautenberg Amendment protects, just not the lifetime sentence imposed. It's like getting a speeding ticket and getting lifetime suspended license. How my buddy got his rights back as a felon and I'll die with this looming over me is a heavy burden. I am pursuing a career in gaming in Nevada. I have heard that Casinos run extensive background checks for employment. 8 years ago I was convicted of misdemeanor assault but I had the charges expunged in court. I was told that I could say I was never convicted, but if the BG checks are extensive will they find it? Should I keep shut or admit my fault and hope I'm pardoned? LOL Help from lawyers or Casino employees or hiring managers would be appreciated. I don't want to spend all the time and effort on schooling etc just to not get hired by anyone. Thanks

IT'S HOT and it itches. No mexican or spicy food or anything, I don't know where this came from it's just killin me. Just standing there waiting, maybe ten people. It shot through me like stomach to exit in .6 seconds. I didn't have time to pucker and stop it. It was ultra loud, but I just froze like a dear in headlights for like ten seconds. What should I do if an accidental discharge ever fires off in public again? It was one of those Southwest Airlines "Wanna get away?" moments.
