My parents filed a 1040 form tax return and it says married filing jointly. There only seems to be one line and number for wages so does that mean both of my parent's wages are the same? Because on the FAFSA they ask for wages from parent 1 then wages from parent 2 but there is only one line and number for wages on the 1040 form. I am confused please help!

We are in the process of buying new health insurance and I seem to be a bit confused on how this one particular plan works. My mom needs a certain medication and it is deemed a Tier 3 Drug and this states "In-Network: $40 copay after Prescription Drug Deductible

Out-of-Network: 40% coinsurance after Deductible"

The deductible is $3000 but the Prescription Drug Deductible is $400. Would this medication be using the Prescription Drug Deductible instead of the regular deductible of $3000? Since the medication is a Tier 3 Drug does that still make it considered a PDD? It is medication to treat Hepatitis B if that helps.

And if that is true then does it mean that after we pay the $400, the insurance company would make us pay $40 afterwards for the entire year for every refill on the medication or do I have this mixed up?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys so long story short, I am taking a summer calc class and so far I have failed the first two exams getting around a 35 for both of them. I just can't grasp the concepts and it is moving so fast that when I start to understand one thing we are already moving onto the next. Should I withdraw from the course or try and ace the final and try and pull a D?

hey guys so probably 2 months ago I got my first speeding ticket whilst on the way to the movie theaters at college because my stupid friends wanted to make the 9:30 showing of Evil Dead. Needless to say it was still my fault getting pulled over in the end. The cop did however tell me that there would be no "points" on my record since it was my first ever offense and basically it was just a $92.00 fine that I paid the next day. I am a very cautious driver and have not had any trouble with the law regarding my driving except for that one mishap.

Does getting this one single ticket raise my insurance rates? We are looking to switch insurances so will our rates be higher because of this stupid mistake of mine?

hey guys so long story short had the brown sperrys original boat shoe for about a good 6-7 months now and only up till recently have I noticed that whenever I wear them when its raining or step on something wet, I feel the wetness seep inside the shoe. For instance, yesterday I was walking down a muddy-ish hill and I could feel the mud seeping in the soles and my feet got moist....

Does this mean my sperrys are no longer good and should buy a new pair? Or is this normal? haha

Hey guys so I just want to get this straight because we are looking at purchasing new insurance... When it says "Annual Deductible; $7500" does that mean after I paid that amount within the calendar year, then the insurance would kick in and start paying some of the cost? Is this still true with any type of doctor visit like routine checkups and stuff? It also says this regarding that "Member pays $30 Copay or 30% after deductible (applies to the 3 office visit copay limit)".

Can someone give me an explanation? It doesn't seem like this is a good option if I would have to pay $7500 before any insurance kicks in right?

hey guys so long story short, i'm in a bit of a conundrum... My orgo class is killing me and I may end up with a D or D- if I keep bombing these exams but I really really need the credits in order to take other major classes like biochem and microbio. My question is should I drop it and get a W on my transcript and retake it during the summer or get the D and the credits so I can go on with other classes?

Note* I might not necessarily get a D but at best I honestly think I could only manage a C or C+ from this class, a B- if a miracle happens.

long story short my mom was watching a movie and then the laptop just died. I tried all the resetting methods, took out the battery, plugged the charger into different outlets around the house, nothing resulting. When plugged in there's absolutely no lights on. Is this a motherboard problem or PCU or something? Would we be better off buying a new laptop or trying to save this one?

hey guys so long story short just finished rush week and supposedly bid day was today and so far I saw one kid post on instagram that he got a bid but not many others....so i was just wondering is there only one official bid day for fraternities?
