Psychic Medium -- no more, no less. All things paranormal/metaphysical, theology is a favorite hobby. Just because you might choose not to believe in something doesn't make it any less real. Anybody who KNOWS anything knows that people with any kind of psychic ability are incapable of using it for personal gain. So if your motto is "If you were psychic you'd have a winning lottery ticket" -- it confirms that you are quite possibly an idiot.

  • Where can I find a good algebra tutorial?

    My son is in basic algebra and refuses to do his homework saying that he doesn't understand it. On more than one occasion he has expected me to pull the answer out of the air...that gets a little tiring. I need something that has more examples or explanation that what are provided in the book.

  • Spontaneous combustion?

    One wonders if we continue to stroke TR's ego enough and said swelling head continues to grow...will TR spontaneously combust?

    Would this be an "unexplained paranormal phenomenon" or could this indeed be explained away by scientific fact?

    My own view is one of practical faith. I once had a man tell me that "God was going to strike him down for sinning...." as I was looking for a little more clarification, I consulted my physically challenged friends -- the response I received was a vision of the man standing before me; then *poof* all that was left were some smoking boots and I heard a snicker.

    I took took this to mean "If *God* wanted to strike him down; he'd of done it already." So logic tells me that it is more likely a chemical response rather than a Divine Intervention...'cuz knowing the Powers That Be, as I do -- over half us would have blown up by now.

  • Can you define "psychic"?

    It seems to me that there is a huge misconception about what really falls into the term "psychic".

    People seem to *know* that nobody can "have those powers" --- yet "those powers" are not really defined.

    Seems to me that a large group misinterpret "psychic" strictly with being "telekenetic" only.

    It would also seem reasonable that you've logically determinded that ANY psychic ability is impossible -- rather than highly improbable -- you first went and made a list and did the research, personally conducted experiments and came to the logical conclusion that these things do not exsist.

    No, wait...turning your nose up and saying it doesn't exsist doesn't qualify; neither does 'RUN IT'S THE DEVIL'.

    Prove it with facts, not fiction or personal opinion.
