So I downloaded a file (just named setup.exe) which I didn't feel was safe so I deleted it and cleared it from the Recycle Bin. Moments later, Kaspersky PURE 3.0 detects the file as being malware, except it's in my already cleared Recycle Bin. It's not able to process it, it's just stuck with the spinning "processing" icon. So, is the malware even there? What do I do so that Kaspersky can delete it? Thanks!

I'm considering purchasing parts to build a new PC so that my family can use my current one. The benefits would include having a computer to myself (since this one is shared), and all of the files wouldn't pile up. Just wondering if it would be worth it, however. Both computers have been used for gaming.

I'm aware that the processor, power supply, and HDD are worse than my current computer, but I figured that I could just save up on money as I probably wouldn't need more than the AMD FX-4350, wattage would be enough, and 500GB is more than enough to store my games. Would it be worth it to just build a new PC? Also, would this computer last a while? I like to play games on relatively high graphics settings, but with the new generation of consoles and games advancing, I hope that this would be enough for a few years. Thanks!

In Skyrim, I used to be able to ride horses; I could steal horses, and I could ride my own horse. Now, whenever I attempt to ride a horse, my camera and player freezes for about three seconds, and then nothing happens; I can move/look around again, but I still can't get on my horse. This started happening right after I left Ironbind Barrow and killed a dragon. I do have quite a few mods on, including the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I also have Convenient Horses, but that doesn't seem to be the problem; uninstalling it didn't fix it, and reinstalling it didn't fix it either. I've already tried the console commands to kill/resurrect my horse, disable/enable it, and even place a new horse to me; no horse works, not Shadowmere or just a plain one. Loading a previous save fixed it, but it's pretty old and I don't want to redo everything. Any other fixes known? Thanks!

I have a follower mod that I got a while back (can't link it because I think it was removed from the Skyrim Nexus, unsure why), and I want to know if I can somehow turn that follower into my own playable character. I tried using something like RaceMenu with the Face Copy spell; it almost worked, but the hair was missing the texture. I think the hair is unique to the follower mod (might be ApachiiSkyHair), and it has a face paint that is not in vanilla Skyrim. Can I convert this follower mod into a playable character, or at least copy the face completely? Thanks!

If the steps are complicated, I would need it in layman's terms, or terms that I can easily Google; not a mod developer at all, I just install mods.

I used to get materials (wood, metal, cloth) whenever I boarded ships and destroyed them, but now I don't. I can get them by picking up loose cargo, but I can't get materials by boarding ships. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks!

My friend recently just bought a GTX 780, upgrading from a 650 Ti, and he plugged it in his computer, with the 6 and 8 pin. But when he boots his computer up, it's stuck at the Acer screen at startup (it's a prebuilt Acer computer that he upgraded). Since we aren't too advanced in this stuff, how can we get past this? He has a 550 watt power supply, Corsair TX series; I assumed it was enough, but it might be the problem. Thanks!

My friend is having trouble with his SSD. Whenever he plugs it in and he boots up his computer, during the time that the Windows logo is displaying, it blue-screens for a bit and then just restarts his computer. So, he wants to format his SSD to see if it works. How does he do it?

I don't have a PS3 or an Xbox, but this seems like a good deal to me. I mainly game on my PC since I invested quite a bit of money on it, however I can't wait much longer for GTA V and this deal seems too good to pass, seeing as it is 500GB and (correct me if I'm wrong) PS+ gives you free games every once in a while. I'd most likely still use my PC as a gaming platform, but for those games that are console-exclusive, is this a good deal? Thanks!

But what makes it better over the keyboard that came with my PC (a non-mechanical Dell keyboard)? How much of an advantage does it give me in games like shooters or games like Minecraft? Thanks!

If I leave my computer on hibernate over the night, will any scheduled disk defrags turn the computer on? If so, will the computer automatically shut itself off after it's complete?

So I'm trying to find games for my phone, and I saw both Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City on the app store. Are they the same as the PC and console versions? Maybe not everything, but the story missions, open world, those main things; are they in the iOS version? Thanks!

This has happened before, but only now is it really starting to get on my nerves. If I move the mouse to the right, it moves to the right, but it jitters everywhere, moving slightly up or down, or even backwards. I play shooters a lot, and this makes it really hard to aim. I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in, but it still does it. I don't know what's causing the problem. The mouse I'm using is the one that came with the Dell XPS 8500. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!

The beta driver is causing a few problems for me, and I want to revert back. I don't want to use the rollback option from the control panel because, to my knowledge, it only installs the previous driver, which was also a beta one; I want to revert back to the latest WHQL driver. So, to go back to the newest WHQL driver, do I simply uninstall my driver and install the old one from the website? If so, how? I'm worried that if I uninstall my video card driver, it just won't display anything at all anymore, and I'm kind of impatient to wait for the next WHQL driver. I want the easiest way possible to uninstall my driver, but trying not to use any third-party programs; if it's difficult to uninstall without one, I can get one, but it would be preferred not to. This is a little frustrating for me. I got the Sims 3 Starter Pack from the Humble Bundle (great deal by the way), and I was able to register the code on Origin just fine. Later, I registered the game on the website, and it worked perfectly fine. But after I woke up this morning, I checked and it said my games weren't registered on the website. I tried entering my product code again, but it told me that it was invalid. I need my game to be registered so that I can download things on the Exchange, but it isn't working. I'm certain I'm using the same account and the right code; it even tells me on my profile that I have unlocked several achievements for the game, but it doesn't say that the game is registered. Any help? Thanks!

So as I'm playing through Borderlands 2 (with Zer0 on True Vault Hunter Mode), whenever I get near a Catch-A-Ride or use one, my game crashes. I tried using other characters, but this time I wasn't even in the same area and the game randomly crashes, not even near any Catch-A-Rides. So I try validating the game cache via Steam, and it tells me that there was 1 file that failed to validate, and says that it has been redownloaded. But after I started playing again, it still kept crashing. I validated the cache again, telling me once more that 1 file failed to validate. This time, I verified it twice without launching the game, and it told me again that 1 file failed to validate. What's going on with my game? I tried looking up a solution online; many people had the same problem, and I tried doing the things they did, but nothing worked. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So I'm playing through the game as Zer0, and I'm at the part where you go to Sanctuary and have to find Corporal Reiss. But when I try to spawn a vehicle or press the intercom button to talk to Roland, my game crashes. It doesn't give me an error, it just says "Borderlands 2 has stopped working; Windows is looking for a solution to the problem..." and it just closes. I've played through this part many times before (with Maya, Salvador and Krieg, 3 times each) and I haven't had this happen before. I tried verifying the game cache via Steam, but the problem kept happening. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks!

I would think to just get Riptide since it's the newer one and it's pretty much the same as Dead Island, but is there something that makes it worse than Dead Island (besides it being almost the exact same as the original)? Also, don't tell me to not buy either of them, because I'm just wondering, if I ever purchase one in the future, that I should pick one over the other.

My friend keeps bugging me that if I overcharge my iPhone, then it will just completely destroy the battery. I think that isn't true. So is it bad to leave it charging overnight, and use it all the time while it's charging? Thanks!
