I will be a senior coming September, and i just want the public's opinion on whether i should apply to Cornell or not.

1. I am a African American Male that will be a First Generation college student

2. My GPA is sadly a 3.5 with 4 AP classes

3. My SAT score is a 1970 (M-660 , W-710, R-600)

SAT Biology - 670

SAT World History - 690

4. Clubs/Extra Curricular : CFES (College for Every Student) , Sophie Davis Mentoring Program @CCNY, Debate (3 years), Track and Field (1 year), National Honor Society, College Writing Program (4 years), Vice President , Pastor Assistant/ Technical Assistant (Church) .

5. Work Experience : I interned at -

Fitzpatrick , Cello (Intellectual Property Firm)

Arent Fox LLP

Southern District of NY (Courthouse)

Herrick Feinstein

5. Because of my demanding schedule, I was only able to participate in one college philosophy class.

What do you guys think ? Will i be accepted?

Hello, I have been attending SAT prep for the past month. I started off with a terrible score of 1310 and on my last test received a 1610 (Math-580;Reading-480;Writing-550,Essay 8). How can I increase my score to at least a 1800 by my test date in October. Tips or Advice ? I'm listening.

Am I over my head ? I will be taking :

1.AP Biology (double period)

2.AP English

3.AP U.S. History

4.AP Calculus (double period)

5. Spanish 1

6. Gym

7. Physics (double period)

I am a rising Junior, and the ending of the school year means its time to pick classes yet again.

The Classes im taking right now are :

World History

Intro to Engineering

Chemistry

Gym

English 4

Music

Algebra 2

I currently without trying ( no studying or anything) im maintain a 91 average with all regular classes.

Th problem begins now because i am eligible to take so many AP classes , such as : AP English, AP US History, AP Calculus ( only if i score a certain score on the trig regents - which i probably will), and AP Biology(Specially chosen).

I don't know what to do. Do you think i could take all of these AP's next year and maintain Track , Debate, a extra college course, Saturday writing classes, and my presidency? I really do feel the need to take all of the class i really just don't know right now.

P.S. My schedule with all of the classes would something like :

AP Bio (Double Periods on selective days)

I will be a senior in High School next year (I live in NYC). My overall GPA is a 92 (My school doesn't calculate it in a 4.0 scale. In October i got a 1870 on my SAT. I debate, do volunteer work, do extra writing class, im very active in my churches ministry, apart of a gateway to medicine program, and Arista Honor Society Member, and im apart of two clubs at school (key,step). Do you think that i am Rochester material ? I have been dreaming to get in this school since my sophomore year. Be straight up with me.

In NYC were about to get our high school applications and im wondering which high school seems the best.

I know my grade is ok but i want to become a doctor and i cant find any good schools. The school haves to be in manhattan or Queens and not in a bad section but jamaica ave is good in Queens cuz i live there.
