Linkage institutions are used to connect citizens to government. However, because of low voter turnout, elections may not be the best way or only way to connect.

Question: What other ways and methods exist to connect voters to our government in the U.S.?

If the framers of the Constitution were alive today, would they favor or oppose such an approach to resolving controversial policy issues?

I got a LCD of 20 but that's obviously not the answer. I multiplied x+2 over 4 by 5/5 ; x-1 over 5 by 4/4 and 15 by 20.

What gives?

After you divide the coefficient of x half, square it and add it to both sides, why does it disappear from the side with the variables?

We have 4x^2 - 2x - 5 = 0

Next 4x^2 - 2x = 5

Divide everything by 4 into this x^2 - 1/2x = 5

Taking have of the coefficient of x, squaring it into 1/16 and adding to both sides.

We have x^2 - 1/2x + 1/16 = 5/4 + 1/16

Next my example shows (x - 1/4)^2 = 21/16

WHERE DID THE 1/16 GO THAT WAS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE EQUALITY SIGN?

This is a Gateway Essentials 433c PC from the year 2000 with soon to be 256MB RAM, 40GB HDD and already has a Celeron CPU. Don't know anything else but I do know this will be an "INTERNET ONLY" machine. So what you got???
