sterring vibration and clunking sound?
I drive a 1979 Mercedes benz 300d. I have recenlty replaced the upper and lower balljoints, had the steering aligned and wheels balanced. Could it be broken tierod ends that cause the vibration at high sopeeds and the clanking sound at very low speeds over small bumps?

I drive a 1976 300d, I use fuel injector cleaner every 3 full tanks. What can I place in between to lessen the noise? I have heard of mixing a bit of 2cycle oil in the tank, but has anyone tried this, what was the ratio of mixture that you used?
