I'm 16 and last night I dropped my girlfriend off at her parent's house, and then while she went upstairs my dad pulled me aside and handed me a condom; he said "Just in case." He didn't really act supportive of it but he wanted me to be safe. Does this mean it's okay for me to give his daughter the D?

I'm 23 and everyone considers me very attractive. I'm single, but when I go to clubs or even just around town, I always get hit on. However, some people that hit on me are these either ugly, fat, or short (or a combination of the three), then when I reject them and advise them to go for someone in their league, they always tell people that they're 'too nice.' Some of my guy friends have heard ugly guys say this is as well. Why do they do this??

If I were to buy a gently used pair of Nike Air shoes off ebay and I wore them, would they fall apart? Could I scrub and clean them? Could i walk around with them? Would the materi inside them fall apart? Anything else i should know? Thanks

I was talking with my mormon friend and later I was thinking, "how do mormons have parties?" He said they can't do drugs, drink alcohol, have sex, etc... which is what happens at every party. Do they just not have parties? Or do they break the rules once in a while so they can have/or attend a party? Also, now that weed is legal (at least in my state), can mormons smoke it? The LDS website says no 'illegal' drugs, and it's not illegal. Not trying to be rude in any way, just curious. (We're in highschool, by the way- I'm talking about young parties)

I was thinking about attending BYU because I have relatives who live in Utah. However, one of my friends told me that weed is really expensive there, and I won't have much money, so I don't want to cut that out of party timeso nce in a while. Also, my friends who go to BYU say the honor code thing is just a total joke, and probably 9/10 kids never follow it. So that isn't a problem. But how expensive is weed? Also I don't really like beer, but there a lot of drunks everywhere?

I'm really upset and frustrated right now. I'm 18, finishing up high school in Oregon, and my mom signed me up for the army of the Republic of Korea behind my back. She told me that I needed to straighten up or something? I'm not sure because I have decent grades. Anyways, I didn't even know it was possible, but because of the American military aid to Korea, it's possible to sign up there. My mom said she read about enlistment and thought it would be a challenge or something. I'm white, don't speak more than a little bit of Korean I picked up off Starcraft and no prior experience. I tried to get this whole thing settled at the enlistment office, but there was nothing they could do. My choices are to either go to Korea or face serious marks on my permanent record that would make it almost impossible to go to a university. What should I do?? Also, I thought my mom couldn't do this, but she did it while I was still a minor and I can't simply get out of it like the regular American army. I'm an American citizen, if that helps. The only connection my family has with Korea is that my grandpa fought in the Korean War.

My 15 year old daughter got pregnant last month. She's obviously far too young to have a baby, so I told her to go to planned parenthood and get an abortion, but she refuses to. Her ex boyfriend (the father of the child) is black, which means the baby will be black. I'm not being in any way racist, but babies who are half black rarely if ever get adopted, and will most likely live its entire life in an orphanage, and that's just unfair. I told her that if she doesn't get an abortion, I'm throwing her out on the streets. I have no options. What should I do? (Polite answers only, please)

I have a son and a daughter - he's 15 and she's 17. Because I know they are going to smoke marijuana, I level with them because restricting and punishing them will only lead to resentment and it won't stop them from doing it. They can't get in the car with someone who is under the influence, they have to keep up good grades. They also can't smoke on a school night. Are the rules the same at your house or are they very similar?

I've had to deal with it my entire life, but now I just want it to stop. My parents are from South-East Asia (mixed race; Thai, Vietnamese, Laosian, etc...) and they emigrated to America, where they had me. I'm totally Ametican- I speak American English and act American- but ever since I was little (Kindergarten), I've always been made fun of. My name is Phuq (pronounced F U C K - not Phooq, or Pheeq, but it sounds as if some one with no accent said the F word. My teachers every damn year try and pronounce my name to not sound like the F word but I say it correctly and their eyes widen. People always laugh. I didn't really get bullied at all, but polite people always act awkward, and rude ones just laugh. When I was in Jr. High I saw Superbad with my friends, and when they said the line with the Man-Lady named Phuk my friends stared at me. People made jokes a few months after. I just want it changed. Can I do it? I don't want my parents feeling bad either. Sorry for this being so long. I live in California by the way, so it's not as bad because there are Asian kids named Nguyen and stuff. My favorite and most inspirational person since I was a little girl was Flo-Jo the American Olympian superstar. I wanted to name her Flojo, but my wife wanted the name Bethanie, so we compromised with Blowjo. Some of our friends loved it and thought it was so unique, and others weren't too impressed. Is this a good name for our daughter (in your personal opinion)? I didn't want her to have a teasable name (like Jackson, kids might call them Jacks-off), and I want it to have a ring to it. Ok so just a few Seconds ago I just about ate my Dads whole bag of Hot cheetos. Ive notice that my fingers are red from the access Cheetos, So my first thought was "Ha ill just wipe it off" Not thinking my dad was would know cause i get rid of the evidence.SO I rubbed my hands on his blanket (Cause I was sitting in his room) and now that crap is all over the place. After that i open the door to leave his room and bam what do you know I got it all over the handle.I'm like are you serious trying to rubbing it on my pants just and now I got red marks all over my pants knees. I run to the bathroom to turn on the sink get cheeto stuff all over the faucet handles (In my mind im like this is okay cause I don't think my dad will come into the bathroom and notice) I grab the bar of soap turning it all red (FUUUUUUUUUUU-)Try rubbing it of kinda comes off but you can still tell.My mouth is all red too rinse my mouth out for like 20 min and by then my mom gets home asking what the **** cause I guess i rubbed some on the door and wall leading all the way upstairs to my bathroom. So i Tell her that i ate dad cheetos and she broke down in tears."Why you crying mom?"I said. She replied and said that my dad was going to be home in 5 mins with a bunch of friends from work to watch Monday night football and if the house was messy he was going to beat her. I didnt believe her at first but when 5 min past by and dad came home and I just hear screams and what sounds like a !@$# kicking of the year.But i guess it didn't help that Between the time mom told me dad was going home in 5 min I Grabbed her hand and stuck it all in the cheeto bag.Then went crazy wiping her hands all over the bathroom the going into there room still having a hold of her hands rubbing all over the bed and all over dad remote to his tv. I also through the rest of the bag all over my mom.I went back to my room to hear that only moments after i got in my safe room dad got home and i can hear all the steps leading to his room.after that..Well he beat her and rubbed her face in the mess and had to cancel the Monday night football. So can you guys tell me how to get rid of hot cheeto messes cause..Wow don't want that happening again.

I'm seriously considering joining the Army next year. I want to see the world, and I only had enough money to go to the UK for the past Summer. Standards are low (the American army allows people without high school diplomas and people who are severely overweight), so I guess that it is probably in my best interests to take advantage of all the money the government spends each year. One of the major problems IS....

I do NOT want to put up with Christians (particularly evangelicals). I do NOT want to be around Bible pushers, praying all the time, or going to "spiritual fitness programs". I'm tolerant of other religions (Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, etc...), but Christians in particular piss me off (their belief system included). BQ: Does the military pay for DECENT colleges? Not Community Colleges?

I'm not stereotyping or anything, but when I went to America (Vermont, North Carolina, Colorado and Oregon, so don't say I only saw one part of the country), I was SHOCKED at how FAT people were. There were so many lard asses it made me want to vomit. Disgusting. A third of the people on the street were morbidly obese, and practically EVERYONE was overweight. I'm from Iceland, and fat people are practically non-existent, because people here actually CARE about their looks. What causes this?

I had it right when it came out. I took one sip and I couldn't take another. I gave the rest to my mother. I am an American, and I can handle things that are VERY sweet. A root beer float made my French friend puke. I love iced coffee with milk and sweetener. But when it comes to tea, I don't add cream, milk or any SUGAR. Ugh. Disgusting. I like it plain. The whole point of TEA is to drink it PLAIN. Another reason I hate the South. Anyone else agree with me? McDonald's tea is just far too sweet? Ew. Way to take another healthy food and make it disgusting and unhealthy.

Any natives know something that defines B.C.? Not for a report, but i'm from Washington State and I just want to know a little about it. Some of the stereotypes are that there a lot of Chinese people in B.C. (Hong Kouver), they have really good weed, Victoria and Vancouver are big cities, it's on the west coast, it's clean, ummm... anything else? :P

Also, can a few old Vietnamese people speak Russian?
