My friend and I are arguing about which place is farther from the equator (dumb I know) but bear with me. I say that spot in Poland is farther from the equator than Dover, Pa is. She on the other hand says they are basically about the same distance from the equator. Which one of us is correct and an explanation would help. Thanks.

Alright I've never really been into paranormal, I've always thought that my house was haunted however. I'm not religious at all either.

I was laying in my bed at 7am this morning trying to fall asleep when all of a sudden i could feel a change in the room. My heart starting beating faster, I started breathing faster, I could just feel something was gonna happen. I just laid there afraid to move, then I heard my dog bark in my parents room and all of a sudden i was held down on my bed, I couldn't move at all. I heard if sleep paralysis but I was already awake when this happened. As I was being held down there was a loud prolonged noise in my closet or maybe just infront of my closet that I can't really even describe. Then it all stopped and my heart rate went back to normal.

I'm left sort of speechless. I've had the whole held down thing happen to me before in another room, but no noise. The thing that gets me is how I could sense it or my body could sense it a couple seconds before it happened.

Anyone have any input they could give me? Any similar experiences?

I read somewhere that gasoline has a flash point of -45 degrees Fahrenheit. That means that gasoline wouldn't ignite if the temperature was below -45, right? So does that mean if you were in some weird situation where it is extremely (unusually) cold your car/vehicle wouldn't be able to drive anywhere?

I'm pretty confused. I looked it up on wikipedia and played the audio of the sound and I heard nothing. Even when I turned up the speakers the whole way. So is it actually a sound? Or is it just a pause?

I tried the words that apparently have glottal stops in them (button, butter, bitten, etc) and I just don't get it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, my friend came over last night and was supposed to bring MDMA so we could try it. What she was sold was some acne medication in a capsule. I told her to check the imprint but what are you gonna do. So instead of that we took some of her vyvanse. I never heard of it before then but I found out it's like a slowly absorbed adderral. So she gave me 2 50mg and she took four. About an hour later I took 2 more. After that I still didnt feel much so I kept going (should of stopped there). Total of 350mg. Stopped there because I had 2 20mg Ritalin I was gonna share with my friend. She didn't want hers so I snorted both of them. Again another mistake but I've done Ritalin a couple times before. Then like an hour later I don't remember anything. Only pieces. I'm 15 and I think 140lbs If it helps. I'm done with pills. Only reason I tried them was because weeds to noticeable. So I've been up for over 2 days now. I actually have school in like 3 hours. I know I probably ****** up my kidneys and stuff. Ive had a huge headache For about a day. The comedown sucked. I'm just surprised I didn't black out or anything. I remember enough to know I was conscious the whole time, but I had such short term memory loss it wasn't right.

I was playing tug-of-war not too long go with my Boxer and I was wondering if its bad for their teeth. My dog is really muscular (he's a male). Could it yank a tooth out or something? Or should I not worry about it..

There's this girl that I've seriously liked for 5 years now. About 2 years ago I really got to know her. I noticed bruises on her face and neck about a month ago. She told me all about what happened. The guy she's with is 19 and a drunk (he just got out of a coma from drunk driving) and she's only 15. Today I saw a bruise on the entire left side of her neck. Her hair is long enough to cover it though. It's bad enough her english teacher sent her to the nurse. She covered it up with makeup and told the nurse she fell. I don't know what to tell her. I've told her to try to keep her distance from him when she's with him. The thing is she always goes back to him, they are on and off all the time. They aren't a couple but they always hang out and have sex all the time. Her parents don't even know that the guy exists so they aren't really an option. Any advice? It hurts to know that she keeps getting beaten.

The speaker on my phone is 3x louder when it plays music, and its not even for music.

The speaker on the Ipod Touch is very quiet, not loud at all.

Does anyone know why or if Apple plans on changing it?

The only way to make it louder is to plug it into something.

I'm doing a research paper for my English class and I need to know some problems with America's food production.

Today, around 4:00 p.m. I realized my phone was gone, not in my shirt pocket like where I always put it.

Usually when I lose my phone, I find it. But today I didn't lose it in my house, I lost it on the way to my friends house (which is 3 miles away and I walked). I've probably walked 12 miles today just going back and forth looking for it. It's on vibrate, I've called it with other peoples phones plenty of times. I even looked through several leave piles. I gave up since its dark now, I'm gonna try again tomorrow.

Anyone have any helpful tricks?

The serial number is 18902 and it says it's made by Tonk. I don't think Tonk makes pianos anymore because every site I went on to find the age didn't have it.

It's made out of cherry wood, and its a dark red. Like a Dark scarlet.

Its pretty out of tune, 6 keys are broken, 10 are uneven or cracked/chipped. (Ironically almost all of them are 'A' notes) I play it anyway.

Is it worth anything?

Can you fix/tune a broken/old piano? (The 6 keys that don't make a sound when you press them)

I know that question sounds dumb, let me elaborate.

I know the piano has a great range of notes, but what my question is, is the piano missing (possible) notes? (Not the really low ones or the really high ones) Like between C and C#. Couldn't there be a possible note between that?

If not, what makes each note what it is. Like why are there 12 keys in an octave. (Including the black keys) Why not 14? (If I'm confusing you, sorry. I confuse myself too.)

Ive liked this girl for 5 years now, ever since I met her. I would say I love her. Weve always been good friends but I know she would never date me, Ive came to accept that. Today, my ex that broke up with me told me that she still likes me a lot, though i moved on when we broke up. Also, my other friend asked me to go to homecoming with her. I told her Ill think about it. Anyway, I was thinking about asking the girl I like/love to homecoming, maybe just as friends. If i do though she might say no and if she says yes my ex (who im good friends with too and who knows ive like this girl for so long) and my friend that asked me to go to homecoming will be mad at me. Its like a lose lose situation. Any ideas on what I should do?

Ok, so tonight at like 1:13am i got a call from my friends asking if they could stay over because they had no place to stay, I said yeah ok (it was only 4 of them) even though I was supposed to be up by 9am. They just left at like 8am. I didn't get any sleep because I had to make sure my parents didn't wake up and find out. My problem is I have cross country practice at 3pm and since Im on varsity we run a crap load. Should I go? Should I drink coffee or something? Or should I of said no to my friends?

I'm supposed to make tapioca for a class at my college and when I went to beat the egg whites I put in the sugar too soon and now it wont turn into a foamy fluff. Its kind of runny.

Will this affect the outcome of the tapioca? If so, should I start over?
