The attitude towards homosexuality changed massively inside the 100 years but how was it between 1900 and 2000 being gay? Not being allowed to show how you feel without discrimination

It used to be that only children thought it was real but now even kids get that it's not and yet fans keep getting asked if we know it's not real. Star Wars isn't real, that's a major film franchise, why don't Star Wars fans get asked if they think it's real? Never understood this.
