Sometimes, one would think that it is impossible for him/her to fall in love. Then it just hits you even when you try to avoid it. And when you let it in, it leaves you hanging with a large hole in your heart and a large cravings for food (but you can't eat too much of it, otherwise you will gain weight -_-'). Love sucks.

Something with a decent amount of action and has a good plot? A really good Shojo is fine with me too.

I know that this is a silly question, but I am having trouble with this. When I look at an artwork... I just feel stuff and sometimes, just make my own interpretation from it. I don't really critically analyze it or try to figure out an artists' intentions or motives...so now I don't really know how to analyze an artwork. I don't take art classes...or anything like that. But for my essay, I chose visual arts as my subject since I "felt" like doing it at the time when we were selecting subjects (Yeah, that was dumb of me...since I don't really know much about it).

What am I suppose to look for when I analyze? My friend told me to look at the choice of color on an artwork...but what else should I look for? Also, how do I know or judge why the artist use those colors or whatever technique it is that they used? Is there like a specific rule or explanation for a choice of technique? Or does it just varies?

When someone does something bad, evil, or wrong...do you think ignorance is a legitimate excuse? Would a person be freed of all consequence and punishments if he or she truly does not know that it was wrong?

I know that this is a cruel example to use (and please don't get upset with me for it), but in the case of a baby or a young child...if he or she murdered someone, not knowing that it was wrong, isn't the baby freed of all guilt or punishment? What do YOU think?

When I was discussing about it with my friends earlier today, one of my friends claims that behind everyone's actions, there is a selfish motive for one's own benefits. She explains that even when a person is being nice or doing something good for someone else, it is because the person wants to gain the other's interest, receive other's approval, or because they get the feeling of self satisfaction.

Do you think this is true?

When you are being nice, is there a motive or reason behind your actions? Are you nice or are doing something good for someone because you think it is the right thing to do? Are you nice because you get something back in return? Or are you nice because that is just how you naturally are and how you naturally respond to things?

I am tired of seeing this blue exclamation box for my avatar. :/

I want to use the yahoo avatar that I created a long time ago... probably 7 or 8 months ago. Six months ago, I went on a Y!A hiatus...and I didn't return to Y!A until recently (about 3 weeks ago). However, when I came back to edit my profile (all I did was delete the line: "I'm going on a Y!A's hiatus.") After that, my avatar turned into this blue exclamation mark.

I tried to change the preference to make it my yahoo avatar again, but it won't show up! What's wrong with it? What do I need to do?

Today, I heard from my friend that generally, people admire the traits of the sun sign that comes after their own. For example, an Aries would admire the Taurus's traits, the Taurus would admire the Gemini's traits, and etc. She explained that generally speaking, it is because each sign has undergo the traits and experiences of the sun sign that precedes it. Thus, they have learned and evolved from the negative trait or weakness of the previous sun sign.

...And then, I kind of thought about it... and realized that it is really true on my part to a certain extent. I am a Pisces. I don't know the sun sign of all the people that I know, but of all the people who I know that are Aries, I do really admire them for characteristics and traits (although, of course...every Aries are unique in their own way). The Aries that I know always have the knack to friends everywhere they go pretty easily... and they are generally happy, easy-going...and have a very energetic spirit in them. They seem to always know how to get people's attention...and they are actually REALLY intelligent, funny, creative, and quick at thinking. At least...these are the Aries that I know.

What about you? Do you think this is true? Do you generally admire people with the sun sign that comes after yours?

A friend of mine has been helping me out a lot. I want to thank him by giving him a gift, beside making him a card. I don't know what to give him though, because I really don't know what he likes. I have been sick all week. It has only been getting worst. Right now, I feel too sick to write the essays. However, I know that if I don't do as much as I can today, this upcoming week is going to be hectic for me because there's going to be a lot of work to do. Should I just enjoy the last few hours of the night and then go to sleep...and suffer the consequence tomorrow? Or should I be a good student and not procrastinate (Although I have already procrastinated the whole week).
