I was at a restaurant a couple of days ago and I had steak with bearnaise sauce. When i tried some of the bearnaise it was completely cold! I complained to the waitress and she said bearnaise is 'always served cold'. I thought bearnaise was meant to be warm, especially considering it's made with melted butter. I know the eggs can curdle if the butter is too hot but serving it actually cold with a hot steak seems wrong to me. That waitress has got me confused....

It causes an early death, smells acrid and disgusting, has no benefits in any way, and is really expensive, 20 cigarettes costs about £7 in the uk, that's over $10 ! What a waste of money. . .

I've been making chicken smashed thinly then covered in shwarma spices, garlic powder, cayenne, salt and pepper and chargrilled until really charred. I then chargrill slices of aubergine, courgette and green peppers. I get an Arab flatbread, smear it with homemade houmus, put on the veg, chicken, a lot of coriander, raw thinly sliced onion, sliced deseeded tomatoes, sliced black olives, yoghurt flavoured with garlic, various lettuces, wrap it up then chargrill it to get the bread hot and toasty. Is this a good recipe?

Uncanny....

Americans I know and on tv say this phrase incorrectly all the time and it really annoys me. The phrase should be: I couldn't care less, not: I could care less. Think about it, if you COULD care less that means you could actually care a huge amount because you could always are less. If you COULDNT care less, you are saying that you care so little that it is impossible to care less. So when you say: I could care less, you are complementing someone without realising. If you still don't understand and continue to say: I could care less, then you are an idiot...

Next to my house is a community centre, a lovely building but, as I've checked on the notice board, every Wednesday is mentally disabled music morning. Every Wednesday a grand wailing lamentation is extruded on the wind, it is horrible. These mentally disabled are allowed to use instruments also, for what purpose I'm not sure. Shall I complain to the council about this profane choir of the damned for polluting the surrounding area with dread and suffering through the callamatous use of instruments and incessant wailing?

I was walking down the road the other day and this teenage boy was walking towards me, he was staring at me with sunken, cross-eyes, he was drooling and smiling at me too. When I was right next to him he stopped and stared at me intensely whilst smiling. What was wrong with this person ?

I know people who are fussy with what they eat, like refusing to try things and eating bland flavourless foods. I know an adult who hates coffee, mushrooms, pepper (the spice), all seafood, all vegetables, amongst many other things. Ive noticed a correlation between being a fussy eater and being unworldly and insular in general I've noticed it in other people too. I find someone unwilling to try new food really annoying. What do you think ?
