In preparation for braces, my orthodontist inserted a quad helix spacer into my mouth and I had in in for around 2 months. At some point, my jaw started to pop when I opened it wide enough, to the point where now, even after he took it out and gave me braces, I can't open my jaw fully, because it locks and I kinda have to move it around and to the side to open it fully. It doesn't really hurt unless I force it open. It also feels kinda different to the other side and more bony, if that makes sense. I tried to tell my orthodontist but he just was weird and evasive and didn't really say anything. I'm pretty sure it happened because of the stress put on my jaw by the spacer thing. Should I be worrying and will it get better on its own?

So a couple days ago I started having some sharp shooting pains in my chest, under my ribs (I'm not sure if that's related) and then my right side of my ribs started feeling uncomfortable, but I just made nothing of it. Now I can't lie on that side without feeling uncomfortable and a little suffocated and I've realised that some of my ribs on that side are sticking out from the front and going in from the back. Should I be worried?
