I have bought a new Laptop (eeePC 901) and also a W-LAN Router (D-Link DIR-635)

My home computer is connected via Cable to the router and the laptop has a wireless connection to the router. I have set up static interna ip's for both (192.168.0.100 [laptop] and ...0.101 [pc]) now im wondering how to set up the network so i can transfer files etc from one to another. both are responding to ping, but i can't find any of them in the workgroup or alike.

Also ich hab mir das empfehlen und verdienen Programm bei o2 mal angeschaut, wurde durch die schön ausführliche formulierung aber net schlauer ob die prämie bar ausgezahlt wird oder net.

Bsp: Ich hab bestimmtes handy und tarif den ich haben möchte, meine schwester (kein o2 Kunde) schickt mir per online portal von o2 eine empfehlung für genau dieses handy und tarif und sollte laut o2 information 40€ dafür kriegen, ich hole mir diese empfehlung per email und behalte es wie beschrieben über die 14tage rückgabefrist hinaus. Also sollte meine schwester die 40€ innerhalb eines monats gutgeschrieben bekommen, aber in welcher form?
