Hi does anyone know of any ingredient in dog food that could possibly cause eye irritation in humans? i was feeding my dog and i rubbed my eye and now ive come out with red ringed eyes that ire a little itchy. I have traked back and the only thing i was doing when i rubbed them was feeding the dog. Thanks. p.s ive taken piriton and washed them out.

Can anyone tell me, if im sat at home and it connects to my wireless network or if im in a pub and it connects to thier wifi network do it still count on my download or is it only when im out and not connected to a wifi network?

a couple in a common law marriage or relationship to be the chairman and treasurer of a residents association where money is provided by a trust to be spent on the community? there must be something wrong there, surely its not in the best interests of the residents for two people so close to have such tight reigns on an association, any help would be brilliant.

Im brewing cider and this is my second year, this year i have tried to make perry i have done the first stages and added yeast, i checked out the perry and have discovered i has a growth on the top of the cider, it is 1 inch thick and is a browny ginger colour it doesn't smell. Should i strain this off or leave it till fermentation is complete, does this always happen with perry? and i added campdem tablets 30 hours before adding the yeast

Hi i have bought a new woodburner, it comes with flue. What i need to know is, is it ok to just put the meter long flue up the chimney and let the smoke drift up or do i need to seal around it? the chimney breast and chimney are sound ive had a sweep come clean it and check it out but im in a pickle about the sealing of it, Many thanks for your help

Hi i went for a drive today and the car stalled and wouldn't start, i took it to a friend and together we went through the motions or resolving the problem. We checked fuel and still wouldn't start and then we noticed black/dirty oil on the floor when we investigated it, it had come from the air filter- the oil had been blown back through a tube near the spark plugs and in to the air filter compartment. We then removed the filter and tried again, but to no success, we checked the fuel pump and it wasn't working so we checked the fuses and found one to be blown, we replaced the fuse and the pump started working and we drove home. we got near home and the car stalled again when we popped the bonnet we found a mist of oil had been sprayed onto the drivers side of the engine (from where we don't know) we checked the oil and found it to be low so put some in and drove home. We took the spark plugs out and replaced them and bought an oil filter and replaced that, but left the air filter off (we couldn't get one) anyway we started to run the car again and we found a whole load of smoke to be coming out of the exhaust, it was a little at first but them a lot it was a bit bluish and white and looked like a smoke bomb in the end. Anyway we haven't a clue what is wrong with it, is it injectors? head gasket? rings? we don't have a clue, and was wondering if anyone else had an idea of what could be wrong, Thank you. Rob

its up some mountains, id like to take some photographs and id also like to take something really obscure and funny to use as a prop in the photo (like an ironing board). It needs to be original but i cant think of anything so does anyone have any ideas?, obviously it needs to be fairly light too.

Hi i have a male and female kiwi vine and was wanting to put them on a frame, ideally for space id like to put them both in the same pot (a decent sized one) could you tell me if this would be ok, and will the vine still polinate the female

Hi i have just bought an infrared kayak, im new to this kind of kayak and im wondering about the seating position. The cockpit is elongated (like a teardrop) with foot rests in the nose, i like to keep my knees up but the kayak has padding on the sides and im wondering if my knees go behind the padding or do i keep them up in a slightly inclined position on the foot rests in-front of me . If i put the knees running down the side of the craft my feet don't rest on the foot plates and is uncomfy for me. So do i keep them in a slightly inclined position or do i need to adjust the foot plates and have my legs flat running down the sides of the kayak with the padding on the inside and none on the outside just the kayak skin?. Hi can anyone help me?. Do polyurethane canoes become brittle if they are left uncovered of unsheltered for any amount of time?. The side of the canoe has warped slightly but seems to be water tight but has it become brittle?. Also is a repair easy to conduct on a polyurethane canoe? any help or a shunt in the right direction would be of great help

Hi im making marrow rum/wine i put the mixture into demijohns and let the fermentation take place then i transfered the drink into bottles when i thought that the fermentation had finished after about four weeks. I corked the bottles and left them in the kitchen to stand for a while, but the rum has reactivated and has blown the corks off the bottles. So i am thinking should i put in a campden tablet to kill the frermentation in the bottles or just leave the corks off and put balloons on the top till i can get some pressure release corks. Can anyone help with the this. ( i put in yeast to help with the fermentation which is what i was advised to do) thanks. Rob

Hi me and a friend would like to make some cider at home, not a load of it just some for fun. We have access to a lot of apples so we are going to have a go at it. We have access to a press BUT every site we visit just baffles us can someone tell us in laymans terms how to go about it ive got some books coming but id stiull like a general idea
