Exactly what will you guys cut?

Republicans holding 240 seats in the House of Representatives is nothing special by historical standards. For example, after the 1982 midterm elections, the Democrats held 269 seats in the House after gaining 26 from Republicans.

Sure the Republicans gained big, but their majority is small by historical standards. Hardly a mandate for them.

Were in the middle of the worst jobs recession in history and you guys couldn't even take the senate? In fact, you guys couldn't even kick out Harry Reid in a state that has the worst unemployment in the country!

In a paper published on the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Michigan law professor Michael Barr stated that as of 2005: "Only 25 percent of subprime loans were made by banks and thrifts, and the Federal Reserve reports that only six percent of subprime loans were CRA-eligible."

Some Republicans claim that the economy collapsed because Democrats gained power in 2007, but they never specify exactly how this is the case.

After all, it cost over 1 trillion dollars to invade Iraq and Afghanistan and help rebuild them from the rubble, yet after we had the biggest economic collapse here in America, Republicans were against a 800 billion dollar stimulus to put Americans back to work? A little hypocritical now, isn't it? We have money for foreign countries, but we don't have enough money for our own country??

Kinda hypocritical don't you think?

I mean, Republicans were in power until 2006. Democrats came into power in 2007 and all of a sudden financial institutions started showing weakness. Now, exactly what kind of Democratic policies or legislation was passed that could of caused this??

Republicans, please explain your logic to me on this one.
