Mac/HP Printer People - will this work?

So I recently purchased a printer, HP Desktop Printer 3520 (http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-of%E2%80%A6 and did not realize it does not work with my mac (which is a 10.5.8 version, leopard). Unfortunately, this printer only works with 10.6 and higher.

So, I purchased Snow Leopard v. 10.6 to install on my mac.

After I install Snow Leopard, the hp printer will definitely work with my mac right? I'm in college right now, so I have a lot of papers to print off, and I really need to make sure that installing Snow Leopard is the right thing to do -- or I will just return it.

Okay so I've been talking with this guy over text for about a week now, but we don't know each other too well in person, and I'd really like to know him more face-to-face. Even if we just end up being friends, he seems like a good and fun guy to be with. He's been texting me first as well, and it started with flirting and now we are just getting to know each other (: We're in high school just a heads up...

So should I ask him out? Or at least ask to just "hang out" without it being a technical date?

I'm a senior in high school and am in the college application process at the moment. There is one school that sticks out to me the most, and I absolutely love everything about it. I can see myself living on that beautiful campus, joining a sorority there, and most of all, earning my degree in elementary education.

I'm considering early decision, but I'm very nervous about this. I don't think I'll get "cold feet," but my sister keeps telling me I may....However, I love the school and can not picture myself going anywhere else. I live in California and this school is in North Carolina (I grew up there for 8 years of my life and have always wanted to move back).

So my question is....should I do early decision? Is it worth it? I'm looking for more opinions. The rate of acceptance for people who do early decision is about 78%, while for early action (which would be my definite 2nd choice) it would only be 50% acceptance rate....

Is it weird to have a three-way prom date? Me, my best girl friend, and my close guy friend are going to prom together and we are all each others "dates." He is getting me and my friend corsages and we are getting him two boutonnieres. I am really excited because without these two great friends, I would have gone single, which I didn't really want to do in the first place. If you've seen glee... it's sort of like Sam, Mercedes, and Rachel going to prom together.

So I've been on my school's tennis team for the last three years. Next year, I'll be a senior and my coach has already said I am one of the three co-captains if I make the team.

I was #3 out of 24 girls on our team, but I just played a match and was beaten by a sophomore (who I should have beaten and who everyone expects me to beat) and I moved down to spot #4. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal, but to me, it really is. I've been crying for hours. I feel so unmotivated now and I feel like I'm losing my love of the game of tennis just because of the stupid tryouts my coach makes us go through for about 5 months... yeah, I'm not kidding....

I'm very upset and frustrated. This may seem stupid, but if you've played tennis before competitively, you'd know how mental the game really is.

Even though I keep telling myself this is ONE match and tryouts do not end until August, I still feel like I'll keep slipping down and not make varsity (seniors have to make varsity, top 12).

I think I just need some advice of how to keep going with these silly tryouts? I just seem to need people to push me forward. I need motivation, but right now I'm not thinking about making the tennis team, I'm thinking about prom, senior year, my friends and summer. Tennis used to be fun for me, and I used to be so motivated and happy to be playing the game. But now, I'm just tired of crying every time I loose and I'm beginning to hate tennis because it is such a mental sport....

Should I just quit?? If I did though, my parents would be extremely disappointed in me, and my coach and team mates probably would be too.

Why should I keep playing?? I feel like tennis is just a lot of pressure now, not fun.

We have built a physics rubber band car. We have four wheels that are the same mass and have rubber bands and tape around them to make them resist friction and to make the car heavier. We have placed straws through the wheels on either sides and have tied the rubber bands to the straw connecting the back wheels.

The problem is, it moves quite fast, but we need it to go 6m, even if it goes slowly. Every time we wind up our rubber band car and let it go, it runs into the wall and goes dramatically off the path we want it to go. We really need it to go in straight line... do you have any suggestions?

This may sound extremely lame and dorky, but I'm having a super hero party for my 17th birthday with about 15 people. It's a really fun idea because my friends love to dress up and goof around and we just love to act like kids haha.We are all dorks, but that's just usss....

I know how I will decorate - using red, blue and yellow as my main color scheme - but I'm having trouble coming up with activities to do during the party. I've rented a few superhero-themed movies, planned the game of mafia (but superhero style), and I am maybe thinking about superhero trivia? Or is that lame??

If you guys have any suggestions for what I could do at my party, based on the superhero theme, that would be great! There are a few guys coming, but majority are girls with a total of 15 people.

I have a university I really want to go to, and obviously my mind can change, but its definitely my number one to go to right now. Its a small private school across the east coast, and it has an 'average' acceptance rate according to collegeprowler.com.

I'm only a junior in high school, and my parents are pressuring me to email people that are at the college that deal with admissions and such and ask them questions, just to show my name. I, on the other hand, think it is WAY too soon to start putting my name out there at this university. I just don't think I should email them personally until I've already done my SAT and am really beginning to look at colleges.

I also think that an email will not help me with getting into this university. I have good grades, good extra curricular activities, and plan to hopefully do well on the SAT in the spring.

My real question is: will sending an email really make a difference? Do colleges even care about who emails them and do they keep track?

What if one your friends didn't invite you to a party or a special event they are having? And what if they instead invited a friend that they barely even talk to? And what if they invited you about 4 weeks ago, but then decided not to invite you and you were uninvited?

I'm asking this obviously because it's happened to me. Today one of my friends had an event and I wasn't invited. WHY? I did nothing wrong and I know it. I'm thinking about talking to her about it and how much she hurt my feelings, especially since I knew I was supposed to be invited. But what should I say? And how should I bring it up? Thanks for your advice, I really need it because I don't want to give up this friendship.

My friend, lets call her Sally, told me at the beginning of summer that she is doing something for her birthday, going to Six Flags. Her mom and my mom talked about it too and I was very excited to go.

After coming back from a 3 week vacation, I was obviously expecting an invite, but nothing came. I then found out that two of my close friends were invited and then someone that Sally doesn't even hang out with anymore. I'm hurt because I wasn't invited. Not only that, but I have done nothing wrong. I know some may say maybe you've done something but you just don't realize, but all I've been to her is a great friend. We have always been pretty close, but now, I feel like our friendship is over and I have no idea why. She's started to neglect me and hasn't invited me over since I've been back, too.

My mom always says, its better to be just not invited then to be uninvited. And I agree.

I'm hurt and I know I may seem like a stupid teenage girl, but she 'was' my best friend, but now I don't know what to think and what to do. I want to send her a text tomorrow (when she's going to six flags) and tell her "have fun at six flags today" just to show her that I know about it and that I'm mad at her. But I'm afraid that would just be being a rude person and would just make things worse.

I know if I don't bring it up, it will just fade away in her memory and will stick like glue in mine. I won't forget about it and it will make me always mad at her, but I will never bring it up because I just can't! Thats why I wanted to send her a text.

I've been looking for a pair of boots for under $100 (preferably cheaper) and I can not seem to find any!!! I'm looking for boots that look like this:
