I'm wondering if I can get into the University of British Columbia even with a C+ on my transcript from a first semester Junior year AP English class. My first semester was bad overall, with a 3.33-3.4 GPA, but I got straight A's second semester with the exact same classes, including AP English. That makes my overall Junior year GPA a 3.6-3.75. Senior year was a solid 4.0.

I have a 3.5/3.6 GPA over my freshman, junior, and senior years, with my junior year being my strongest year (3.6 first semester, 3.8 second semester) and i scored a 2000 flat on the SAT. My ACT is 30 flat, and I am involved in a few clubs at school (Quiz Bowl, Solar Cup, M.U.N., and Mock Trial). I also am part of the nationally-recognized Constitution Team and have been the editor for the photography section of my school newspaper for the past two years as well. I write a small blog about music and have started a FB page and website for my photography (a few photos have been bought/used). As for volunteering, I volunteered in fire lookouts in the San Gabriel Mountains near LA for a summer and did some work with a non-profit law firm. I also held a job for two summers at my dad's office, and interned for part of one summer with a music producer. In addition, I fence epee but haven't gotten my rating yet (I've been fencing since 5th grade), and would like to be a walk-on for the team. Any answers are appreciated. Thanks!

In junior year I took AP U.S. History, AP Art History, and AP English, Spanish 3, Pow Wow (my school newspaper) and Statistics (most students take Pre-Calc and Stats is considered easy). My worry is with the math because, although I will be taking Pre-Calc next year, I will only have met minimum requirements. I'm going to an American high school, and am looking at liberal arts courses. I'm also looking to apply to McGill, UCLA, Georgetown, Michigan, and other schools. Senior year I'm taking AP English, AP History, Pow Wow (now I'm an editor), Pre-Calc, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish, and a free period. I've also done well on my APs and SAT, including the AP European History test that I self-studied for. I also am involved in several academic teams and am a fencer (albeit a not very good one). My dad and I are planning a trip that takes us from St. John's, Newfoundland all the way to Montreal. Now, we know that there is a road that goes past Labrador City, the 389, that doesn't connect with the 138. Plus, there isn't any road to connect Labrador City directly to any point westward. If anybody with Hydro-Quebec or anything has any insight or help, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm wondering whether I should take regular Statistics or regular Math Analysis. I am taking four AP classes in other subjects next year, and am looking for a good math course. These are my views: Stats is easier, but doesn't get me into AP Stats; MA is harder, but gets me into AP Stats. All answers welcome. Once again, both classes are regular classes, not Honors. Thanks!

I'm considering either buying the Lumix G2 or G3 and am wondering which is better. I like the color effects on the G2 (I have a GF1 but want the nicer screen, viewfinder, size, and all) but don't see them on the G3. I also know that people don't like holding the G3 as much, even though it's the newest version. Which one should I get (if any). Price is an objection, so I am a little biased towards the G2. I have $500 to spend and I am looking to get either a Nintendo 3DS and a few games, a PSP 300 with a game (my old 3000 broke), or a Lumix G3 camera body (I already have a GF1). Which would be the best use of my money?if I do get the PSP, what game should I get? Which, if any, bundle should I get for any of them? Which is the best for resale? I have a DSi right now, but a few buttons are broken and I've been wanting to trade up to a 3DS. All the software is working fine and all, but if I traded it in with a few games at Gamestop, how much would I get? And does the 3DS play regular DS games? Also, I have a bunch of downladed DSWare games on the DSi and I was wondering if I can get those onto the 3DS if I get one. Thanks!

I'll be driving in about 9 months to a year and want to get my own car. I'll be driving it in SoCal (traffic and nice, open roads) and I would like it to be a manual transmission. I want something safe and reliable that has some nice space in the back (wagon or hatchback) but that's not too expensive or flashy. Good gas mileage would also be a plus, as well as low insurance rates. Thanks!

My PSP will be in the middle of playing a game when all of a sudden the message asking me if I want to quit my game will appear without my finger ever touching the home button. My friend said he had the same problem then he fixed it. I want to resolve this problem and try to keep my current PSP, a -3001 model. Also, if it is indeed a big enough error for trade is, how much will it cost for the PS Vita and does the Vita have backwards compatibility? Thanks for any answers!

I would really like to start flying lessons when I will still be a teen. I've watching alot about flying and stuff, and I've been on TONS of flights. I would definitely like to work up to maybe a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan or Pilatus PC-12. Any help would be appreciated as well as any recommendations for a place to get my basic license in the Pasadena/Arcadia, CA area would be appreciated, especially at El Monte Airport. I have an old First Gen iPhone and would really like to hack to use my SIM card that is hooked up to a NON-data plan so I can use that iPhone. What's the best software to hack it (redsn0w, Cidya, limerain)? How do I hack it on a Mac? And (on the side) can I simultaneously hack it for all free apps with the same software as the Verizon hack? Any help is appreciated!!!! And if you can't tell, I'm not really that great at technology so if you can try to keep the tech talk to a low, that would be great.
