My best friend was hit by her boyfriend 3 years ago and he went to jail for felony DV. she left the state and he never served more than over night in jail. He tried to expunge the record but we don t know if he succeeded. When we look up her background check, it shows there was a recent court hearing him vs her, for DV when though she doesn t live there anymore. It lists her as a respondent. It just says "case heard" another note says failure to serve, and denied.

Will this hurt her record at well? Is it possible he was trying to false accuse her? Or is this how an expungement works?

It cost $360 for office x to service 18 copiers in 6 months. At this rate, how much will it cost to service 6 copiers in 3 months?

I had my heart broken very bad 6 months ago. I don t cry over it anymore, but obviously I still think about it. Roughly 7 weeks along. Choosing surgical process. No judging please. Going through with pregnancy right now would completely jeopardize my current situation with my kids and getting into our new apartment and finishing school. I also suffered a harsh battle with pre eclampsia my last pregnancy. My bc did not work out for me. I'm interested in being sedated but the pp here only does heavy pain meds via an iv. I don't know how else to go about it. I just want to know how the pain meds affect you because I'm sensitive to pills. How long do the affects linger after?

I have great grades in most of my classes, except two of the most crucial ones. My physio and chem class I got a C and D so my chances of getting into a nursing program at these impacted colleges are pretty much blown. I can retake the classes, but it will only take me longer and I'm 32 now. I know age doesn't matter, but I already got into the college of my choice before these grades came out so now I have to change my major or stay in community college. My only other option as I was told, was to graduate in something, anything, and finish my nursing pre-req's later and get into an accelerated nursing program, or do the pre-req's and get into an MSN (Masters) program. More time and more money, so anyone ever do this that can share their story with me? I'm feeling really discouraged right about now.

He was only in 4yrs, we were married for 11yrs. we've been separated a few yrs but have not finalized the divorce because he insists I am not entitled to a dime. He receives a gi bill, bah, and disability. He may get ss one day, and some va home loan stuff. I'm not sure what else, I haven't asked for anything. He was abusive so I just had to leave. We have two kids and I've asked for 50/50 to be fair. Thanks for any help.

I am losing hope on obtaining my BSN because in my area the schools are so impacted that they only accept 1 in 5 applicants a year and the nursing program receives over 250 applications a year. This goes for all 3 of the major universities in my area and the average gpa they take is 3.7+ (I am a 3.2). I am relying on my back up major which is dance to get me through my bachelors. I have an AS degree already with all my nursing pre-req's done. I am planning to apply to a graduate program for a MSN because I know that they do accept non-nursing BA/BS holders. I am just not sure what to expect or prepare for when that happens. Some schools only accept you conditionally, such as if you have a degree in health science or something allied health related. I have several advisory meetings soon, I just want to hear some honest feedback from people who have actually done it.

I am in a world of disarray right about now. The guy I've been dating for about 5 months who is awesome and I adore, is just killing it for me. In this brief time, he has broke plans with me about 7 times for another girl. He told me from the beginning he had a female best friend. He told me she recently had a baby that is NOT his and he is like an uncle to this child. He often tells me he hasn't seen the child in several weeks and he is going to visit them and check on them. Several times when I wanted to see him he is sometimes too tired from work, has plans with friends, or has things to do. I understand I really do, but many times on his own he claimed he wanted to make more time for me and gives me this big song and dance about how he feels about me, then he goes and breaks plans at the drop of a hat because his best friend, this girl, needs a babysitter! There have been quite a few incidents he had to help her out when we had plans. He has to help her do everything from be her taxi cab, watch her baby while she runs errands, or babysit while she works. He is acting like her slave. I know they have known each other a long time and Im not jealous but don't you think that if he wanted to be in a relationship there would be a turning point where he could say wait a second, my girl has to come before some of these other people sometimes....? Well only about twice has be chose me over his male friends or included me in their outings but for this girl he goes running to her all the time. He claims it's for that baby that has grown on him, but I told him she's a mom, she'll be fine. I know it's not his baby, I have kids from a previous relationship so he has nothing to hide, his friends also say it's weird cause it's not his child. I'm really hurt and can't understand why he is living his life on hold for this girl he is always on call when she needs something. If he feels like how he says he feels about me, why is always running to her and not me?

I recently told him we are done, this last time was the last straw- we had just made up and things were fine for 2 days he sweet talked me to coming back and the very next day he ran to her when we had a date.

My cat is a big fella. What is most strange about him is he seems to have this hanging belly like a beer gut but he doesn't drink. His stomach hangs as if he were a pregnant female cat. He's been neutered so yes he is a male. When laying down stretched out on his side, from his head where his ears start, to his bottom where his tail starts, he is 34 inches long (not counting tail) He weighs 18 lbs, and is 14 inches tall from where his front paw starts to the top of his back (not counting head)

Is this just a large cat? He doesn't look overweight. Is he part bobcat, tiger, lion, sabertooth?

It's a little complex, but what I mean is for example, 1000 years ago one of your ancestors had a specific gene for really huge feet or something. After years and years of their descendants reproducing with diverse people or whatever, is it possible that after 1000 years of reproducing, that the gene will still be carried in one of their decendants today? That SAME gene?

I interviewed for a simple position, cocktail waitressing. I have lots of cafe style experience, great references, and an AA degree for what it's worth. The interview went great with the HR rep laughing with me a lot and asking me many questions. In the end, he offered me a job in a different position, hostessing. I turned it down because I don't like standing around doing practically nothing. I was a hostess before and that's what the extend of my job was, looking at a table sheet and waiting around like a bored customer. He told me I didn't have enough serving experience which is understandable BUT- Why would he want to hire someone who has tons of experience, yet doesn't have a job? It just means that most likely they keep quitting, getting fired or who knows. And, what type of experience was I lacking being that all I would have to do is learn the menu and serve tables, all of which I was doing as a barista?

No one ever has experience in their first jobs, yet they are given chances. I believe I should have got the position I applied for.

PS I am an attractive person so I know it's not cause of that.

I worry about our cat because he is an indoor cat but uses the outdoors to potty. I open the door frequently to check on him and call him but most of the time he is just sittin on the porch on his belly with his paws tucked in. He refuses to come back inside even when it's windy and in the 30's (It's California so it doesn't snow inland but it does freeze). Sometimes when he comes in, his nose and fur are very cold. I read that cats can reproduce their own heat and that their fur insulates it. I just wonder now how reliable that is, and if he even feels the coldness. If it feels like 30 degrees to people, does it feel like 50 degrees to him? He is a large fella, tall and weighing about 15 lbs.

I'd like to drive to Colorado from northern Ca. Last time I took I50 and it was the most boring drive and kinda creepy with little or no stops for most of it. Im looking for others experiences in driving this route in the Winter. IDK if it's snowing out there yet but I'd like a place with stops and pretty decent on the wheels.

I recently got into a fender bender and I have side rear damage. I plan to replace the necessary parts myself but instead of painting just the spot that got hit, I'd like to just paint the whole truck. Also, does it matter if I choose the same color? The original color is red. If it's cheaper to keep it red thats fine, if it's cheaper to do it another color thats fine too.

It seems that my '04 dodge pick-up overheats only when going over 50 mph like on the freeway. It sometimes just overheats going up hill but it doesn't overheat just driving around town. What could be the problem? Checked the thermostat it was fine, coolant, hoses, all okay.
