How is health insurance applied in a group therapy situation when the participants have varying degrees of coverages?
My grandson's school psychologist said he would benefit from therapy. She suggested that since he is reluctant to go, he might be more receptive to it if our entire family goes (Me, my husband, my youngest daughter who is the mother of my grandson, my oldest daughter, and my son). If all our family members are on board with this, how would insurance cover it? My husband and I have health insurance, and so does my oldest daughter, but my son, grandson, and youngest daughter are not covered at all and do not have a lot of financial resources for counseling/therapy. How is group therapy typically handled insurance wise?
3 AntwortenInsurancevor 4 JahrenDistrict Manager will not allow recuperating employee to have a chair available to rest in?
A coworker of mine has just come back to work after 9 months of battling breast cancer. She is still in a weakened state but is able to fulfill her work duties behind a jewelry counter. She asked the management of the store if she could have a chair or stool available so she could sit for a few minutes when she did not have to actively wait on customers. The management had no problem with that request. Several days ago, the District Manager came into the store and said that the chair had to go. My coworker provided a note from her physician explaining that she needed to have brief rests if she was to be on her feet for extended periods. That did no good. I was flabbergasted. Is this refusal to accommodate her a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act?
3 AntwortenLaw & Ethicsvor 8 JahrenSpeed sensor, gauge cluster or what?
My Camry recently started acting up. The speedometer stops registering anything (needle remains at 0mph when car is moving), and the LCD odometer goes blank. The tachometer seems ok. Check engine light comes on. Shifting will be rough and the trans will slip slightly. This will last a while and then go back to normal. Sometimes the check engine light will come on by itself without the speedometer and odometer issues. Advance Auto Parts got a P0500 code (vehicle speed sensor). We replaced the vehicle speed sensor, and my first trip to work with the new sensor was fine. After 3-4 hours in the sun in the parking lot, I started the car, and there was the check engine light again and the odometer and speedometer non- functioning. Took it to a mechanic who disregarded the code generated by the Advance Auto folks and said it was the speedometer cluster. He recalibrated the speedometer and reset the check engine light and said it would probably solve the problem for a while. I drove the car home with no problem and left it in the driveway in the heat. Two hours later I went to start the car: the problem was there again. I'm so frustrated. I think it could be related to heat buildup in the car. Would that suggest a wiring problem?
3 AntwortenMaintenance & Repairsvor 8 JahrenLarge dog is impossible to control on walks?
I occasionally watch my daughter's 70 lb. Rottweiler mix dog. He is a really good dog: sweet disposition, never growls, snaps, or bites. The big problem is his size. He is very playful and active and extremely strong. I usually take him for a walk late at night when other dogs are not likely to be around. The reason: I cannot control him if he wants to run to see another dog. His intentions are not to attack; he simply wants to play. But he leaps and bounds and scares the heck out of the dog owners who are not only afraid for their own safety but for the safety of their dog. I have tried to hold him back on the leash, but he is amazingly strong, and I am just a 110 lb. woman. I can only hold him back for a little while. Then he lunges, and the leash goes flying out of my hand. If I manage to hold onto it, I risk doing a face plant in the middle of the street. Meanwhile the other dog owner is shrieking, thinking my dog is trying to bite his dog, when in reality all my dog wants to do is play. I can totally understand the other dog owner's point of view. This scenario has happened three or four times to me and my daughter, with the other dog owners irate that we cannot control our dog. I'm so sorry and upset. What do you suggest I do? Would dog training classes help?

From the L.A. Times 1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card. 2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. 3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens. 4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers. 5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally 6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages. 7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border. 8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal. 9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking. [Brian's note: not a problem in and of itself] 10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L.A. County ) (All 10 of the above are from the Los Angeles Times) Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

4 AntwortenCelebritiesvor 1 JahrzehntHow would I handle the sale of vacant land on my income tax?
My husband inherited a lot of vacant land in 1988. It basically sat there until last January when he sold it for about $36,000. It is not business property. He has no idea of what the value of the land was when he inherited it, and he has no idea how to find out.
My question is if this sale should be reported to the IRS and how much tax would he owe on it if taxes are indeed owed?
5 AntwortenUnited Statesvor 1 JahrzehntDryer takes too long to dry clothes. What is wrong?
I have been using my Whirlpool electric dryer for only 2 months in my new house and all of a sudden it will not dry clothes well. There is no lint accumulation and the ducts are not kinked. The dryer does heat but the clothes are very damp even after over an hour on the high setting. I donl;t know if this is related to the problem, but the lint trap on the top of the dryer seems to be catching lint only on the bottom edge, not along its entire length. What could be the problem and is it something I can fix?

They play it a lot during other televised golf tournaments as well. I want to say it's something by John Tesh but I really don't know.
