Planning on joining the Marine corp after uni im a senior in highschool (17 male), I have my college list will all school that have the ROTC program, but I just figured out to become a Marine Officer I must do NROTC. Will I have to redo my list, what other options are there.

I'm 16 years old guy I've been really depressed these last few months I used to have depression but it went away not around 2 years later its coming back and I have no one. No friends, no dad, no sis and I want to tell my mom so I can get medical treatment but she is very strict and scary. If I ever come to her with a problem she gets mad at me and screams saying I'm causing stresses or overreacting. I used to harm myself but that was a long time ago when I was 13 and after I thought it was the dumbest decision ever but those thoughts are coming back along with the depression.

I have no one to talk to and I don't know how long I can last.

So I have a friend who is girl (I'm a guy) I don't have any feelings at all for her. She its nice and funny and ambitious but she is a bit annoying and embarrassing sometimes. She is loud af and makes weird noises sometimes. She is also super Christian and I'm not really so she always talks about God and quotes and spiritual stuff. She doesn't act normal and I understand that and like that but ALLLLL the time loud annoying and just abnormal is annoying as hell.

My father left us 3 years ago but he has been harassing my mom but nothing illegal my mom wants to get him in prison because when he was with us he would severly beat and abuse me and my sister. I think about him time to time but he doesn't hurt me or affect me he means nothing to me now but he used to be important. I'm a 16 year old guy who lives with his sister and mother. My father abandoned us around when I was 13. My mom work hard but she comes home everyday and scareams and screams for hours. Not normal screaming she screams to her capacity and goes psycho. She throws stuff around hits me and my sister but it doesn't hurt cuz she is weak. She tells us to leave the house she says she is going to kill or sell our dog. She gets mad over the stupidest thing like if I didn't fill the jug if water before she comes home. I have good friends and school but when I go home I just thinking about killing myself because I can't take this. She won't GI see a doctor or someone to help her she does take her antidepressants cuz she thinks she is going to get fat. She takes all her anger out on me I am always trying my best to be a good kid but she hates me.

So usually I go and drink from time to time and I am all good but 5 months back I was chillin with friends and drank around 11 shots and probably almost died and choked on my own vomit. Now whenever I smell alcohol I get so disgusted and feel like vomitting. Like today I was drinking and I could not enjoy it at all it was horrible ever sip was hell I just drank to get drunk. I don't drink often has this happened to you what should I do???
