What are the Alabama tenant rights to air conditioning?

Our central AC broke 6 days ago, the landlord finally got someone out here to look at it 3 days ago and it was determined that it needs to be completely replaced. Someone is coming tomorrow to evaluate the unit and make arrangements for a new system to be installed, which I am unsure of how long it will take.

Is it reasonable to ask the landlord if he can provide us with a portable AC until the new system can be installed? It's already in the high 80s here, and I have a medical condition that makes me intolerant to heat.

Recently purchasing tickets on Delta, I noticed in their Special Meals section they list Baby, Toddler, or Child meals.

Can anyone please tell me what each of those meals would consist of? Doesn't have to be exact, just to give me an example of what to choose for my very picky two year old.

When I go to Walmart.com and select an article of clothing, then select the size and color I want to add to my cart, the item in my cart is not the size and color I selected! It always defaults to the smallest size of the color shown in the image. For example, I want a shirt for my daughter, so I select that I want the blue in a size 10. Then the one that shows up in my cart is the purple size 4/5! It's not out of stock in that size or color, it does this for every single item I've tried and it's been doing this since Christmas. HELP! Do I have some setting turned on that blocks it? Do I need some kind of program, even though I've updated all of them in case that was the problem, like Java or Adobe reader or something?? I'm clueless about computers, so please help!

I don't mean into beads, I've found several sites that do that. I was hoping for somewhere that would lacquer a petal and make a pendant from it or preserve it in a locket or something. Any ideas???

Ok, my son is almost 18 months, and ever since he was 7 months old he throws up when he cries for a certain period of time and if he coughs too hard. He still doesn't sleep through the night because if I try to let him cry it out, he becomes hysterical and throws up all over. And when he's sick, he throws up constantly (from the coughing and probably from feeling the mucus at the back of his throat), we have to keep a bucket ready after every meal he eats! Also, if anything even touches his throat, like the collar of his shirt while getting dressed, he gags.

Can anyone offer some insight to this? Is it a sensitive gag reflex? Is there anything that can be done about it, therapy, medication, etc?

I want to plant some colorful flowers in my flowerbeds, but I don't know where to start! This is what I need:

-I live in WV where the spring seems to be fickle (it's in the 70s this week and supposed to snow next week!), so I need something hardy.

-I want it to bloom for a while.

-I suck at gardening so I need something easy to care for that won't immediately die off if I water too much or too little.

-My flowerbeds are only exposed to the sun for half the day.

I have a lot of clothing that I want to donate to a country that needs clothing, I would normally donate to my local thrift stores, but I know someone who said that when they get a lot of donations, they just throw the clothing in the dumpster.

I recently discovered ruanas, which are like a cross between a cape and a shawl. It goes around your shoulders and drapes over your arms or you can toss the end back over your shoulder for more coverage. I know my aunt purchases hers at www.lanebryant.com, but I cannot find anywhere else that sells them! Can anyone recommend a good store that sells these fabulous garments for a reasonable price??

My chi draws her tail over to the side and arched sideways everytime my friend is near her or is paying attention to her...and she comes to my friend willingly and crawls in her lap, so it can't be fear...why does she do this??? Is it because she is in heat and wants to mate (with just my friend, no one else) or does she see my friend as an "alpha dog"?

I've seen and heard of people who do to these camps or seminars to learn to trust other people by doing certain activities that force you to relinquish control to the other person, or that make you have more confidence in yourself (maybe by walking a high wire or something like that). I want to know what these are called, other than confidence camps, and how I can find some, especially in the Florida area.

I suffer from agoraphobia, which is a mental disorder that makes me have panic attacks when I am in situations that make me feel open or exposed. It has gotten so bad, I haven't been able to even go grocery shopping in years. I am seeing a psychiatrist, but it has only helped to a point. I feel like I need to do something like this to force myself to drive these panic attacks out of me!!

Any advice on where and how to find these kinds of camps or classes would be so greatly appreciated!!!
