First, I should apologize. This is probably the wrong question to ask you, but the site I normal use to ask question on is currently offline, and they did not have any experts this subject either. I would like any possible help you may have.

How diverse is symbology? Is it a major or doctorate? Due to Dan Brown's books, it is hard to get information. In all honestly, I became interested because of his books. I loved to sit down and crack the codes, read a little and find out if I was right or wrong. I printed off ten maps for Rome for Angles and Demons! Could I take is a minor? I find it very fascinating and intriguing. I love languages and was hoping this was a good fit for me.

I you could give me the contact of a symbologist, that would also be useful.
