My fiance's dad lives in the States, so he can get over there as a close relative. However, I do not know how I can get over there. I have two degrees (in the Arts), but no work based learning, eg. teacher etc. We're running out of ideas unfortunately, but this is something we want.

Any clues?

my new baby guinea piggies (estimated to be around 6-8 weeks old) make a 'chunnering' sound when they hear certain noises. It doesn't sound like their happy chattering sound and it's certainly not the wheeking they do when they're exploring or talking to each other. For example, any repetitive sound, eg, kissing sounds I make to them to calm them down, the tap of a spoon on a cup, etc, causes them to make this noise. I don't want to upset them if they're telling me to 'shut up' in guinea-speak, but the kissing sound I make at them always stops them from wheeking and stressing out. I thought maybe they were responding to me, but can't be sure.

Any ideas?

I thought maybe crushed new potatoes, green beans and mushrooms. Any other suggestions?

bacteria such as e-coli and stuff...how long can they survive?

There is a damp patch by where the pipe goes underground and a drip from one of the joins in the pipe. Obviously I'm not delighted with the prospect of toilet water leaking from the pipe, so how can I tell? The pipe from the bath and shower/sink also lead into the soil pipe...

It is only a handheld one, and doesn't vacuum afterwards or anything. I blasted the rug and then felt the rug and it wasn't hot - I'm using the steam cleaner to sterilise the rug, so how does it sterilise it if it doesn't get hot?! Or isn't it working properly?...

Owch =( I must've slept funny, it's so so painful and I can't turn my head to the left past about 10 o clock (if that makes sense). I just wanna know what I can do to ease the pain, it's really bad. I know it's nothing major but the pain is!

ie, you know the resin they have in the bottom of vases to arrange the flowers, well it's very expensive. I wondered if there is a non-toxic, cheaper alternative? It's for a project and it must be non toxic as it is for children.

A nice warm orange and chocolate brown couches. We also have a rug which is mocha and cream. There is orange on the fireplace, which is brought out by the walls. Our current curtains are vile, they're orange with yellow and light green squares. Yuk. Can't think what colour would be best, or what colour combination.

I got a rash in my inner elbow - both of them actually, and then it spread down my wrists. I thought that it was through washing too much, but now it's on the inside of my thighs - near my knees. Eek.

According to the labels, virtually nothing can be tumble dried with the exception of bedding and towels! So how come tumble dryers are so popular?

We had a drain issue 6 months ago and all our outdoor drains backed up. Nothing came up the kitchen sink that I could see or smell, but the drain hose for the washer is lower than the sink, so I'm terrified it backed up into there! I'd have noticed if anything backed up into the machine wouldn't I? I've ran boiled washes and bleached the machine several times.

And the washer's drawer doesn't smell...it's just mildew, right?

on surfaces such as worktops or tables when there is simply nothing for them to feed on?

My boyfriend puts his towel spread out on the radiator and refuses to put it anywhere else. I hang mine on the back of the door, out of the way so when we have guests over they're less inclined to dry their hands on it and go to the radiator instead.

Is there any etiquette on where to put a common hand towel in the bathroom? I can't stand the thought of a guest having to dry their hands on the towel my boyfriend has used to dry his feet on. Yuk.

I do feel bad for her because no one deserves cancer and it is an awful business at her age. But I feel a little bit of that compassion drain for every photo on a magazine I see with her story on it. I think it's a bit sick to make money from an illness like that. Jordan and Kerry Katona are guilty of a similar thing. I don't understand how they can prostitute their lives this way.

ie, throwing up. Do they run off? Do they leave you to it? Or do they rub your back and make soothing noises? Or are they downstairs making you something to settle your tum?

Random I know, but i think it says a lot about people.

Some fool has been driving his RC car around the green in front of my house for half an hour. It's a huge car, so it sounds like a moped continuously revving. It's so annoying.

Am I meant to just put with this sound, even though I can hear it through double glazing? The green is public property and it's only 8.40pm here. But it's so annoying!

ie, their ability to cope? I have a manhole cover right on my driveway and can't help but wonder whether our shared drain can cope with the stupid amounts of rain we've had in the UK.
