So on this month’s payroll we made a deduction off one of the employees, however this was a post-tax/NI deduction so it hasn’t taken into account the PAYE/NI.

To cancel this out on next month’s payslip and get the PAYE/NI back I’ve done a post payment of the figure and then to get the correct amount of PAYE/NI, I’ve done a PRE-TAX/NI deduction.

Is this the correct way to do this?

I'm moving out next week and we have a shared patio garden with next door, we each have our own half.

I'd like to put a divider/trellis of about 3-4m long just so we can have a little privacy when we have guests. I'd like the trellis to be around 180cm high.

Do you have any cheapish (under £200) ideas on how to divide the garden?

I'm thinking long rectangle planting pots with a trellis attached to the back however I think this is too see through until all the plants grow.

Any ideas please?

Each month I am giving the outwork charges for an employee in our sistering Company.

I've currently been doing the total that the other company gives me as the total inclusive of VAT. E.g. they give me a total of £400.00 for the outwork I do the recharge invoice for:

Net: 333.33

VAT: 66.67

Total: 400.00

I've been told that I need to do the total that they give me with VAT added on top of that?

Surely this is claiming too much VAT?

Had my fan belt replaced by the Suzuki garage a couple of weeks ago as it was squeaking.

Car was fine until the next day when it started squeaking again.

Any ideas what this could be?

Could there be a simple fix? I honestly don't want to go back to the Suzuki Garage as they were quite rude and charged me alot! I don't want to fork out more money for the squeak to continue futher.

Has anyone else applied for one using NatWest and received the funds the next day?

Scenery : Pouring rain, it's cold and I'm listening to Depeche Mode hoping the world will throw me a new working car.

After months of my car being a bi polar mess it worked fine for a few months up until now.

Came to the traffic lights today and the bit on my dashboard saying what gear I'm in didn't light up anything.

When I put my foot on the accelerator the car struggled to get going.

It lost power but eventually went back into Drive and off I went.

My Car sometimes feels as if it's struggling to get into the correct gear but it's an automatic so didn't think anything of the pull into gear.

The car also sometimes jolts after coming to a stop, which it has been doing so since I bought the car in February.

The car is leaving my side when my insurance runs out end of January, but hoping this is not too much of a serious issue so I can continue to drive it without too much fixture costs.

Any ideas what this could be?

I need to invoice a company in Norway, do I put the VAT Type as Exempt?

They are a VAT Registered company and I have a VAT No. for them.

On the FPS it's not showing his start date.

-rolling back and having to hit the accelerator to jolt forward to get going again.

I recently purchased a Volkswagen Polo AUTO 2002 1.4.(Wish I hadn't of!)

This car has been causing me problems ever since the day I got it.

Upon driving the car home I noticed that the car will sometimes misfire and Jolt! An automatic car should not roll back! I took it to the garage where they put the computer in and said it needed a Oxygen sensor which they could fit the following saturday.

Took it back to the garage saturday and they phoned me up saying that a different code has came up relating to the gears which they would look into. Nothing to do with the Oxygen sensor. My car is bi polar!

I am awaiting a phone call back to see if they have figured out what is wrong with it.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Getting a rough idea as to how much money I need to put aside!

Another problem which scared me was that when I started the car up the other day it started jugging and the check engine light started flashing at me. Panicking I got out of the car. Went back to the car 5 minutes later and the car was fine! No warning lights! THIS CAR MAKES ME WANT TO CRY !

It's safe to say I may just get rid of this car!

My first purchased car has been a nightmare!

I have a table set up that I use daily where I have to input amounts into.

However sometimes the boarders that are set up mess up and I have to go back and correct the boarder. Is there a way I can Lock the boarders into place but still be able to enter figures into the cell.

We have checked the history and there is no sign that it has had a replacement cambelt.

It has done 70000 miles.

Can someone please tell me what mileage a car should of done before getting the cambelt replaced.

Hopefully taken it straight to the garage after purchase to get this all checked.

I passed my driving test about 2months ago and I want to pick up the car I purchased next weekend.

I'm not due to use the car until March so hence why I would only like the one day to drive it back to my home instead of pay monthly.

I've looked on numerous sites and they normally have an age limit and license held for limit.

Does anybody know of any sites?

Our Broadband is with Virgin Media.

Wireless and DSL light up and work however the internet does not.

I have reset the router but still the internet will not switch on.

Is my router buggered or is there a way to fix this?
