Im thinking of buying a second hand Renault grand scenic and know that they suffer from dashboard failure on the 2004 2005 model's (as well as other faults I know) what I was wondering is I know Renault replaced many of the dashboards free of charge after the negative publicity they had on bbc watchdog what I was wondering though, was there a time limit to this or if I buy one and it hasn't had it done will I still be able to have this done today for free. also as a extra question about the problem with the electric windows. iv heard of Renault admitting to this problem also and paying some of the cost to have it done is this still the case and if so how much does this cost per window today?

ok so I know adsl speed is dependant on distance to the exchange but is fiber? or from the distance from the cab? Im just wondering this as there doesent seem to be a upto... in the sales advert just a stated speed unlike adsl which always says up to 24mb for example

I have a AMD 7870 made by XFX and it has 2 or more apple mini DP outputs on it as well as a hdmi and DVI. I have it connected to my monitor via the hdmi cable and the sound is fine however when I purchased and connected a mini DP to hdmi adaptor I only get a picture and no sound to the second screen (TV). I read that mini DP does support sound from a apple device after 2009 but my question is does my graphics card support sound output from the mini DP at all? I want the sound to output to the TV when I play games watch films from the couch (monitor sound is tinny) I did think about swapping the cables but then I would have no sound when using it as a pc (YouTube etc.) if anyone knows if its just the chap cable I purchased or if its actualy not possible it would be great thanks.

ok so my dad it trying to replace a old clever he has had for years its probably 70 yeas old at least.. best way to discribe it is a semicircle cleaver I have found semicircle knifes with 2 handles but this one is 1 handle like a meat cleaver.. iv looked all over the internet and even gone to catering suply sites and looked at all that are there but cant find 1 the same.. mabe if fomone knows what there called I minght help my search.

ok so about 3 years ago I had a monitor that maxed out at 1280x1024 nec i think. at the time I was running a ati x800 and I could make the screen go up as far as about 2560×1440 im not totally sure of this but it was much higher than the screen was supposed to go so I assume it was something to do with the g-card.. this was a full screen res not a pan to the edge for the rest type deal so I was wondering as im no longer able to go past the 1080 option that my monitor now supports if anyone knows if its still a option or how its done with 3rd party software

ok the film was late 80s passably early 90s... it was about a school trip i think the kids where young kids (5 to 10) and they where on a school trip and there where a group of bad guys chasing them and the teachers had to try and save them ... no totally sure about this bit but i think they where masked men with guns..also think it was set in woodland but this also could just be bad memory on my part .. hope someone can with this because its very vague Information that i can remember.

also i think this film was one of the trailers on a vhs copy of commando that was x rental that i had.....

ok so i have a sopwith camel propeller blade that was made into a piano stool around the 1920.30's

iv seen the blades for sale but never one made into a piano stool does anybody know if these where made by a furniture company or would you think it was made by Carpenters sometime..also would this have reduced the value or added to it??? its been in the family since the 30's so its been a stool since then..(whats something like this worth it takes up alot of room and i dont have a piano)

can i buy items from supermarket to resell in my own shop? also how would it work. do I have to buy a set amount of stock from a cash and carry?

ok so i have two hard drives both have windows 7 the one id rather have running has registry issues that prevent it from booting at all (no safe mode) so the plan was to boot to the other working windows and use a registry program to fix the issues on the broken one .. but all the programs i can find only want to scan and fix the local C: drive that is the currently running windows so how do i scan a non running os? plz help!!!!!!

im looking to build a mountain bike for around £1200-£1300 mark and was looking for advice to what i would best spend my money on for the whole bike.... all parts would be needed

as far as i can see i would get a better bike this way as most of the bikes in this price range seem to have cut corners on running gear and forks??? o yea and the name is mywifes doing im a man....lol

any advice would be good and uk online stores that i could look at prices would be welcome (not evans i dont like them)

Basically I work for a factory in the U.K. For approx 8 months the money that i paid into my pension was used without my knowledge or consent to pay suppliers and wages. It wasn't only me this happened to everyone in the factory! We only found out when the pension company sent out a letter querying the missing payments. The company were then forced to admit what had been happening. The money has now been paid back in 3 installments. The company also agreed to pay a percentage of our wage into the pension scheme. Since they were discovered this has ceased! Surely they are not allowed to use our money in this way! I would be thankful for any help with this matter.
