i recently moved out of an apartment that I shared with 3 people. Months ago the drain plug in the bathroom broke so the lever was naturally in the position so the tub wouldn't drain. We told the landlord via a voice mail he says he did not receive and it kind of became a part of our life so we forgot about it and just got used to rigging it so it would drain without us holding it down. We realized it could have been an issue right before we moved out and naturally it was. The landlord is trying to charge us for the cost of the repair from our security deposit. With the knowledge that we should have taken care of it sooner, does he have any right to do this? It did not affect his ability to rent the house (he received full payment for the month of June, the month after we moved out) and the piece broke through no fault of our own (it rusted through, something we clearly could not cause). Any incite you could give me would be fantastic. Thanks!

The stuff on the cap looks to be the consistency of pudding. there's also black on the sides of the coolant tank. the car started to smell like burning oil on the tail end of a decently wrong trip and now did this to me the next day. the code include p0734, p0217, p0300, p0122, p0700. any insight would be appreciated.

Recently had to replace my linksys router with a belkin because the lynksys broke and my mom bought the cheapest router she could find (why does she care about wireless shes hard line!). Since than when i play warcraft 3 i get terrible lag spikes in games. before games my ping is always low (35-45 ms) and than they start to occur during the game.Im using a belkin usb wireless adapter but i dont think thats the caause since it also seems to happen on my netbook (havent tried on a real computer yet)

My old laptop is now broken so i have 2 one gig sticks of ddr2 ram just chilling in it. I want to take this and put it in my friends moms laptop (also uses ddr2). Is there any reason why this would not work without me specifically knowing the specs of the ram (if i did this i would be completely taking out the old ram in the laptop and putting in the two sticks)

Just bought this computer like a month ago. My dog decided it would make an excellent stepping stool and cracked the screen. I bought this as a replacement for my sony vaio model PCG-5j2l. Is there any chance that the screen from the vaio would work with the hp?

Can anyone tell me how to change the thermostat in a 2005 suzuki forenza?

My car is going through coolant at an alarming rate. Ive brought it to two mechanics and niether could figure it out. They ran a pressure test and found no leaks. The second guy i went to suggested i try to change the resivoir cap so i did that it did nothing. Any ideas on what it could be?

The code thing is P0122, A bad TPS. I have also been having an issue with the car boiling off coolant at a ridiculously fast rate (I go through about a tank every 200 miles). Could these possibly be related and how can i fix it? (I have brought the car to two different mechanics and neither of them could find any solution to the car going through the coolant like it is doing)

my 05 forenza keeps burning through coolant at a high rate. I had it checked for a leak with a pressure test or whatever it is and it has no leak. I changed the cap to the coolant tank because that was the only thing that the mechanic i took it to could think was possibly wrong with it. The problem still exists. Any ideas on what it could be causing this and the best way to fix it?

This is the exact opposite problem of most people. My yard machine push mower will not turn off when i release the bar that you hold while mowing (no idea what its actually called) i took a look at the wire attached to it and it appears to be working properly but obviously its not. Any ideas?

the car will not start. the engine is turning over but it till not start at all. its got 55000 miles on it. i went and got cooling system work done on it a few days ago cause the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. at the time i told them there was only water in the coolant system and they didn't change it like i asked. i only drove it a few miles with the water and it never got hot so i don't think its the engine is seized or whatever. any idea?

The car im looking at has 141,000 miles. just wondering if anyone can give me a little insight as to is this car is decent. im completely car illiterate so if anyone can give me some insight itd be much appreciated

it leaks when its on the fill up the bath tub stage but not when the shower is completely on. Any ideas on how to fix it? the washers messed up on it, could that be the problem? Any ideas would be helpful, than you in advance.
