My daughter took Paxil after the birth of her first child and has recently weaned herself successfully from the medication. She has however begun to develop after effects from the medication. She has numbness in her face, has become clumsy, etc. The Dr said he wants to test her for MS, but I curious if this is just residual from the paxil? Anyone have similar issues?

I had a lumbar micro diskectomy 13 days ago (L4/L5) and I have the most horrible pain/burn in the calf of my left leg. The pain is so bad I can't do much of anything except cry. I can't even sleep and try to block it out. Today at my post-op, was told that it was common and could tak eup to 6 months for the nerves to heal and the leg pain to subside. I can't wait another day let alone 6 months. He said if the paid was still there is a few weeks, they would do another MRI and in the mean time, they gave me prednisone and told me to take one at breakfast and one and dinner for 5 days in an effort to get the swelling down along with applying ice. This pain is enough to drive a sane person nuts. Any suggestions???

We have taken our six year old dog to the vet twice so far and this is what has been done. He began throwing up on Monday which is common for his since he eats EVERYTHING. We gave him Cerenia and that stopped the vomiting. The next day he was extremely lethargic and we took him to the Vet and they put him on antibiotics. When he got home from the vet he was more lethargic and there were lumps all over his body. I called the Vet back and he said it sounded like hives to give him benadryl which I did and it did not help and he stopped eating. We took him back to the Vet. They gave him a shot of an antihistamine and took blood and x-rays and said they would call. They called and said his liver was inflamed and so was his intestines. They said his pancreas (sp) was inflamed but his enzymes were normal. They changed his antibiotic to a stronger one. This morning The Vet called and my dog's face was still swollen and he is lethargic. He told me to give him more benadryl which I did. Now, my dog won't eat and his face is huge and he is very hot. He is drinking water and urinating. He is not itching. I called the Vet and he said he would run a white blood report and call us back in about an hour. Any thoughts on what is wrong with my dog??

I just moved to a rural desert location and was completely in shock over what we saw. We were driving down a county access road and on the left were several dead coyotes hanging from the fence line. Obviously the farmers killed them and hung them on display. When I asked some of the locals, I was told they do it to ward off other coyotes (YEAH RIGHT!) and they said it is okay to hang them and not to bother reporting it because nothing will be done about it and all I will do is make the locals mad. Well what about the horror my family endures driving down the access road which is the only road we all use to get to the highway? My children sit in the car with their faces covered until we reach the highway. How can killing a coyote and hanging it on a fence for everyone to see legal?? I would love some SERIOUS input on this. There is an actor that played a cop in a movie (comedy) and he had a horrible speak impairment (not sure if it is real or not). He was really hard to understand. He almost mumbled, but was funny. He is white and middle aged. Who is this actor?? My nieghbors three year old takes just like him and looks just like him and I can't think of who this actor is.

I purchased an APC WiFi router and am having trouble configuring it. It is supposedly a simple three step process. The instructions are:

1. Connect the power cord (done)

2. Connect the cable modemto the LAN/WAN port (I connected it to the LAN/WAN port on the DSL box)

3. In address line enter 192.168.2.1. and press enter. The system will load the login screen.

Number three does not happen. Nothing loads. My daughter needs her lap top connected to the internet, and I am a computer moron and of course the company is only open Monday-Friday. Any help is appreciated!

I bought a refurbished Dell Laptop and was told I needed a WIFI Router in order to connect to the internet. I have DSL at home and have two computers that run off of that. I looked on Ebay at WIFI routers and they look like the black box the phone company hooked up to my computer. So that left me totally confused. What is a WIFI router, which one do I buy and how do I hook it up?? All I want to do is connect the laptop to the internet and not mess up my current desk top connections.
