I know I haven't been here for a long time but I'm so confused.....I can't find the answer question button. As you will see..I'm level 6 so not a beginner...has technology left me behind? Has being psychic taken over?

Is it illegal to ignore requests to stop it? Is there anything I can do to stop it beyond unsubscribing every day? I never asked for the stuff in the first place.

I just watched The Beach for the first time and was struck by the feeling that I had seen it before, in a different way.

A friend of ours has irresponsibly gone missing. He is 61. Reported to the police as missing.He has left behind a secure tenancy with a housing trust and full housing and council tax benefits. His son lives in the house.

I've looked few things up about the son's right to stay, the missing person's benefits etc. We have consulted Shelter, I work for a welfare rights outfit myself..still no real advice other than to keep quiet. Even the Met has advised this. This is London btw

I find it hard to believe that none of the organisations we have consulted have any previous experience of this situation. Any clues would be welcome.

...she won't let anybody take him for a walk. She never does. Today in very hot weather, she wouldn't let him have a drink. I finally forced her to let him have a bowl of water and he was too frightened to drink. She makes him crap in his pen. She can't see to clean it up. She refers to him as stupid and useless all the time. He's a lovely Labrador and he looks so sad, but of course, so faithful.

Anyway, it's done. I hope the dog gets reassigned to somebody who will love him. And if she gets left without a faithful guide.......she deserves it. My question is...should I feel guilty or not? As it goes, I don't. Just wondered if there are any alternative views?

My friend is going to have surgery on L1. He sustained a fracture of L1 after being thrown onto a concrete surface after an electric shock. He doesn't know yet if he is going for the brace/and / or the cement. In either case I will be the carer.

Any help about what I will need to know? Mobility? Sleeping positions? He is 61 and has arthritis in any case.

....because they never look behind them,and you have to clean up after them? So....they think they have perfect toilet habits because the toilet is always clean.

As a musician, I have tried tonight to work out how to play Tears Dry On Their Own. I can't.

May I also say how disappointed I was with her band when they sniggered at Amy in Belgrade. I know most of them are session men....but why didn't one of them take her off....... and give refunds to the fans?

I am also conscious of our boys and girls who are losing their lives in the pointless war called Afghanistan.

I am 57 and have had a speech defect since I was about 7. I'm the middle of 3 daughters and my eldest sister had a similar problem but that was because of a brain damage problem.

When alone, I can speak fluently. I sing fluently also, even in company. But when in company with my speech, I have to make jerky movements to get my words out.

I have tried being hypnotised but it didn't work.

I'll keep this short in the hope that somebody can help.

Mostly, I get by, but it's starting to get on my nerves that alone, I'm fine. In company, I'm hopeless. I even dread going to the hairdressers....we all know how much talk you are supposed to make.

I would like laser eye surgery. I am extremely short-sighted and suspect that I may not be suitable, but would be told that I was in any case. I fear that if I had it, I would still need specs or contact lenses afterwards.

Any insight (no pun intended) would be well received. Thank you.
