Just a quick question for all you ladies in Yahoo Land !

I have been having terrible problems with the dreaded Period and have been told that I have a small Fibroid and basically go home and not worry about it as it is harmless !

However I have had a period since May 3rd and despite going back to my Dr and being prescribed tablets to stop the bleeding Nothing seems to help !

Ive now been told that the Coil is my only option and was wondering if any of you Lovely Ladies have had the coil and could share your experience !

Just a quick question for all you Ladies and Gents out there !

Ive been very good friends with a young lady for about 10 years, we've been through Births-Marriages-Deaths and even worked together.

We always try and catch up every couple of months with a couple of our other good friends and unless something terrible has happened Ive Never missed out on a night out with her before now !

Her Birthday was just before christmas and we'd all arranged to meet up for a few drinks and a gossip until I came down with a nasty chest infection and was unable to attend the gathering due to feeling like cr@p and being on antibiotics, so I called her to explain that I wouldn't be able to attend and that Id call once I was better and arrange to meet up with her,.

She was fine and told me she understood and wished me a speedy recovery and as far as I was aware we were cool.

The day of her Birthday I signed into Facebook (The Root Of All Evil ) to post her a message wishing her happy Birthday and discovered that she has de-friended me along with our other friend so I tried calling her to see what was going on and No answer- so I text her asking what was going on and again No answer so I left it !

Ive tried calling her countless times since and she wont pick up when she see's my Number so i have taken to with holding my number but as soon as she hears my voice she hangs up on me !

Then last week I thought we were making progress as id received a text from her telling me that I'd let her down and should have made more of an effort on her Birthday and she didn't need friends like me or our other friends in her life that let her down , wasn't to sure how to respond to that one so i left it !

I guess my question is Do I keep saying sorry and hope that she'll come to her senses or do i let sleeping dogs lie and live with the fact that were are No longer Friends !

To cut a long story short I am having some issues with a previous employer who is claiming I have over taken annual leave and have been paid for it and is now seeking his money back.

I have also been informed by him that I have over paid Tax and he is trying to deduct the over payment of tax from the original sum of money he's claiming I owe him and wants me to pay the outstanding balance.

If I have overpaid Tax then surely Im entitled to a Tax Rebate at the end of the financial year and he cant deduct this from the original sum of money!

Any advice would be great as I really want to make sure I have all my facts and figures correct before responding to his letters!

Purchased one yesterday and I am having trouble trying to transfer numbers from my old phone onto the BB via Bluetooth!

For some reason the BB wont accept numbers this way from my old phone, yet my old phone will if that makes any sense!

Info book which came with the phone is about much help as a kick in the head!

If any of you guys can shed any light on how I can do this I'd be really grateful as it's driving me mad doing it manually!

The machine is a BDVD8380 and unless im being very blonde there doesn't seem to be anywhere to insert new batteries if needed.

There is a little flap at the bottom of the remote and believe me I have tried forcing it open but it wont budge.

Just wondering if anyone has one of these Dvd players and has had the same problem and is it a case of having to buy a new remote control?

It's a pain in the ar$e as you cant use the machine properly without the remote and the Bush helpline site is as much use as a kick in the Bush!

My Friend has just started working a Dental Nurse for a small company.

She has just been informed that her Dentist will be away for the whole of December and that she should sign up with a Temping Agency as she wont be needed.

Surely this will play havoc with her Tax and NI as it will look like she has 2 jobs and can they actually do this to her?

Im slightly concerned myself as we work for the same company and I don't relish the idea of being told that I have to find alternative work anytime my dentist is absent!

Im unable to transfer any tunes onto my I Pod Nano, I have got I Tunes on the computer but am still unable to transfer anything on to the bl@@dy thing! LOL.

It's almost like it's not recognized on my computer if that makes sense.

Can anyone offer any advice as it's driving me mad, want to remove some tunes and replace them but i cant and right about now I might stamp on the silly Purple Nano!

My partner has been a postman for over 20 years and always thought the job was secure, which it was until about a year ago.

Royal Mail how ever has other ideas about what job security means

they are now making the posties duties longer, a reduction in wages, posties used to get a rest day in the week and this was unpaid, now they have to work their rest day and still go unpaid!

The latest plan is to scale down the size of the postal rounds which means some of the postie's will not have a regular duty and can be sent to any sorting office to work, which in the grand scheme of things is not so bad as they will still be working.

However R/M are now forcing some of the posties to drive around in Smart Cars to deliver the mail and any postie who declines the offer of a new smart car is being deducted a days pay even though they are doing a duty which requires them to walk and not use a car!

Confused? Join the club Lol

My question is this, can the wages be stopped for declining a smart car even though they are still doing a duty?

I started a new Job on Feb 9th of this year and was told that I'd be on a 3 month contract with a view to a permanent position after the 3 month trial period.

During the trial period I had 3 days holiday which Im now being told will be deducted from my last months salary as I was not entitled to take paid holiday,and the Bank Holidays have also been deducted as this is classed as holiday.

My hours seemed to change to suit him, for example I started at 8.45am and finished at 5pm, but couldn't leave until 5.15-5.30pm

and on a number of occasions I was told that I wasn't needed to work on Mondays even though he was actually at work and meant he'd be working alone, which in his profession is not allowed

My question is to you fine Yahoo people is, should my previous employer by law have given me a contract to sign which clearly stated the rules on my probation and what i was entitled to.

I guess Im slightly confused as to the rules of a temporary/permanent contract.

Today whilst at work i felt the urge to visit the loo and have a little pee.

All was going ok until I dropped my Mobile Phone down the bl@@dy pan, i nearly made my wee there and then!

Stupid question to ask but is it at all possible to retrieve my numbers from the sim card?

The sim wont work in my phone but works in the old mans but i have no contacts what so ever and as you can imagine im not bl@@dy happy at the mo!

Please feel free to have a good laugh at my sheer stupidity, my work mates thought it was top darts!

Just a quick question for you Guys and Gals.

My little puppy dog is nearly 11 months old and over the past 2 days has been "Coughing" if that's the right way to describe it!

It almost sound's like Whooping cough and he's almost heaving like he has something stuck in his throat, he's eating and drinking ok and seems like his normal self.

A friend thought that it might be Kennel Cough as her little dog had the same symptoms.

Have any of you guys had a dog who had the same sort of thing and do you think it's something that i should get the vet to check out.

Hi Guys.

I have read many many people asking and offering advise on all forms of cancer, so im hoping somebody may be able to put my mind at ease.

My beautiful soon to be 19 year old niece found a lump in her breast last year and done the sensible thing and paid a visit to her GP, who examined her and told her it was just the normal lumps/bumps us ladies have, which were more noticable around the monthly cycle.

She found the same lump and went back and saw a different doctor who asked if there was a history of Breast cancer in the family.

She has been refered to the hospital and has her appointment tomorrow.

I suppose my mind is all over the place, my mum died of cancer last January, it was in her lungs but had spread to her breast.

Has anybody had or heard of anyone so young being diagnosed with B/C , it's probably totally harmless but after losing my mum im just so afraid it's going to be bad news.

I am hoping to plan a tea party, and i dont mean cucumber sarnies and tea out of bone china cups!

Im having a tea party to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Nurses.

I lost my mum to terminal lung cancer early last year and the marie curie nurses that helped make her last days with us were the most wonderful people i have ever met, they deserve the name "Angels"

I have never organised a tea party, i've organised plenty of pub crawls, but this is all new to me!

I suppose im just looking for ideas for things to do at my t/p, the location, food, games for kid's!

Any suggestions would be most helpful and thanks in advance for any help!

Have just started studying for my Certificate in Dental Radiography and am having real trouble finding anywhere that still uses the old Oblique Lateral method of taking dental Xrays.

Have contacted all the training hospitals and local dental surgries, but have hit a brick wall!

Any help would be great!

Today is going to be a really sad and emotional time for my family and I!

It's the 1st anniversary of my wonderful mum's death and to me it feels like my heart has been ripped out and smeared all over my face all over again.

I know i dont know any of you really lovely people and you'll all probably think im some kind of nut case, but i'd like to ask you all something.

Today hug your mum, dad, your brother etc and tell them just how much you love them and how much they mean to you, and dont ever take anybody or anything for granted, as it can so easily be taken away from you.

My last request is to raise a glass, or a mug of tea and help me toast the most important person i have ever had the privelage to have known and loved, and wish her all the happiness that she deserves!

He is 6 weeks old on January 1st and i've been told it's between 8-10 weeks, yet somebody else said it's at 6 weeks old!

Would contact my local vet's but their closed until after the new year.

According to a close personal friend of cliff's and i'd guess that's the multi talented Sue question of sport Barker, cliff has decided to quit the race for christmas number one spot for 2 reasons, firstly his single last year only reached the number 2 position and secondly according to Cliff "singles just dont sell these days"

so my question is this, will cliff's non xmas entry be greatly missed or will we find another contender to rip to shreds?

I got the computer is only 2 years old and according to some emails i have received, my computer is at risk and i need to update it asap!

Im not the most computer minded person on the planet and dont really know what im looking for!

It's called "The Fear" and it's written by a guy called Paul Hines.

It's based on a series from 1988 which was shown on ITV.

Had a copy many years ago and am having real difficulty trying to get my hands on another copy.

The only Paul Hines i can find writes travel books, or is an old baseball player!
